Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 201

It had been a highly productive day. Vivienne's spirits lifted as she hummed a tune and went back to her painting.

Meanwhile, in the faculty office.

Director Houghton was on the phone. "Yes, the body has been handled."

"..."

Houghton replied, "We haven't found it yet. We've searched every room except Studio 3."

"..."

Houghton frowned. "It shouldn't be a coincidence, right? The girl has been enrolled for three years. She's always been timid and keeps a low profile. I looked into it; the only reason she was at school today was because of a massive dispute with the Whitmore family. Talia Ravenshire requested an emergency leave for her. It really is just a coincidence. But... Elder Mr. Ravenshire knows about the incident now. This might complicate things."

"..."

Houghton's gaze darkened as he bowed slightly. "Understood."

By 5:30 PM, the military training buses began rolling into the school's parking lot.

Waves of students in camouflage uniforms flooded the campus like a colony of ants returning to their nest. The dead-silent school instantly roared back to life.

Vivienne finished a stunning watercolor of David in white paint, the lighting and shadows perfectly rendered, showcasing her undeniable talent.

"Oh! You're finished? Let me see. Wow, this is incredible." Houghton walked in right on schedule, pretending to be absolutely captivated by her artwork.

Vivienne rolled her eyes, yanking the canvas off the easel and shoving it into her portfolio. "Do you even know what you're looking at? The grayscale tones are entirely muddy. Stop forcing compliments."

Houghton's mouth twitched. "Is that right? Well, I don't know much about art. I just thought it looked realistic."

Vivienne packed up her supplies and casually tossed the heavy bag to Houghton. "It's late. My brother should be back by now. Take me to him."

Houghton gritted his teeth. When did he become her servant? He forced a stiff laugh. "Sure. Right this way."

He had originally planned to probe her for information, but after she shoved her art supplies at him and bossed him around like a maid, he figured it was a waste of time.

First, she had been at the school for three years without any suspicious activity. Second, she was far too young. Houghton didn't believe for a second she was involved in the conspiracy.
