"Vivienne Lexton! Get down right now! If you keep this up, the school won't show you any mercy!"
"Vivienne, please stop! If you keep hyping them up, Harrison and his friends are actually going to get killed!"
"Just come down! This is getting completely out of hand!"
A swarm of teachers circled the Maybach, trying everything from gentle coaxing to stern threats. But the girl on the roof didn't give a damn. What infuriated the faculty even more were the three arrogant bodyguards blocking the doors—who were actively pushing the teachers away!
Alaric took a deep breath and stepped into the chaotic circle. Seeing that someone from the Ravenshire family had finally arrived, the exhausted teachers breathed a sigh of relief and stepped aside.
Vivienne stared down at him, utterly unapologetic. "Well, well. Look who finally showed up. Coward."
"..." Alaric had fully expected a greeting like that. His expression remained stoic. "Get down."
Vivienne shook her head. "No way! I'm practically a god up here. Why should I come down?"
Knowing she was entirely unreasonable, Alaric turned his attention to Cyril and Julian, who were leaning against the front of the car.
They had clearly taken some hits against the massive crowd, sporting fresh bruises on their faces.
Alaric frowned. "You're just going to let her act like a lunatic?"
Cyril glanced casually at the rioting mob, his eyes curving into a gentle smile. "What else are we supposed to do?"
Julian scoffed, crossing his arms. "Why are you even explaining anything to him? Even if we were beaten to death today, the crown prince wouldn't bat an eye."
Alaric's frown deepened.
Sensing the shifting tension, Aurelia and Bianca quickly scrambled out of the car.
Bianca leaned heavily on her crutches. "Alaric, it was Harrison and Bernard who pushed us too far."
Aurelia opened her mouth to defend them, but realizing how volatile the situation was, she quickly shut it.
"Hurry! Over there! The young master is over there!"
