Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 235

Halfway through the meal, Caspian brought out several bottles of premium liquor. Graham and Edmund indulged heavily, and the atmosphere grew incredibly lively.

Edmund seemed particularly fond of Cyril, offering him several toasts. Since Cyril was a young man and Caspian didn't strictly enforce rules, the boys were allowed to join in. By the time they reached the third round of toasts, Cyril was noticeably feeling the effects.

Seeing the mood shift toward heavy drinking, Cedric approached Vivienne, Bianca, and Aurelia, asking if they had finished eating. Taking the hint, the three girls followed him out of the Main Hall.

"Cedric, we didn't drink, so you don't need to escort us," Vivienne said. "Go back inside and keep an eye on Grandpa. Make sure he doesn't drink too much."

Cedric glanced toward the Main Hall and nodded. "Understood."

Once Cedric left, the three girls stood in awkward silence. Before Aurelia could say a word, Bianca grabbed Vivienne's arm. "We don't have anything going on this afternoon anyway. Let's go hang out at your place." She immediately dragged Vivienne toward the courtyard exit.

Aurelia watched their retreating backs, her eyes dimming. She turned to head back to the Primrose Court, but a sudden wave of indignation hit her. On impulse, she sprinted after them.

"Vivi, Bianca, wait!"

Bianca tugged on Vivienne's arm. "Walk faster, or she's just going to piss me off again."

Seeing that they were speeding up instead of stopping, Aurelia felt a sharp sting in her chest. Gritting her teeth, she sprinted ahead and blocked their path.

"I called you! Didn't you hear me?"

Bianca looked entirely unamused. "I heard you. I just didn't want to wait. Was that not obvious? Who knows what you're trying to pick a fight over this time?"

Aurelia's face paled, her eyes reddening. She pulled a sleek, designer cardholder from her pocket, hesitated for a second, then threw it directly at Vivienne's chest before turning and sprinting away.

Vivienne stood there in silence. "..."

Bianca looked a bit sheepish. "What do we do? I think I made her cry."

"..." After a few seconds of contemplation, Vivienne crouched down and picked up the cardholder.

"What is it?" Bianca leaned in curiously.

Vivienne handed it to her. "A bank card."

"A bank card?" Bianca took it in shock. After inspecting the premium metallic finish, her expression turned complicated. "Why is she giving you money?"

Vivienne stood back up. "No idea. Maybe she thinks the only reason I scam people is because I'm poor, so she's paying me off to stop scamming people?"

"..." Bianca honestly didn't know how to respond to that.

It suddenly occurred to Bianca that whenever Aurelia tried to 'fix' a situation, she always managed to make it a hundred times worse.

The incident with the Pomeranian Puppy was the perfect example.
