Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 236

After a few more rounds of drinks, the atmosphere hit its peak, and the gathering at Obsidian Estate ended on a high note.

Cyril and Julian couldn't hold their liquor and had passed out at the table. Caspian chuckled in amusement and instructed Cedric to have them escorted back to their rooms.

Lennox and Heath Corbin, who had been standing guard outside the Main Hall, quickly moved in to retrieve their respective young masters.

Cyril's cheeks were flushed, and he seemed completely dead to the world. Lennox simply hoisted him onto his back. Julian still had a shred of consciousness and stubbornly refused to be carried, so Heath carefully guided him as he stumbled along.

"Take good care of them," Cedric reminded the guards before returning to the Main Hall.

Lennox power-walked with Cyril on his back, turning a fifteen-minute walk to the Blackbriar Wing into a ten-minute sprint. After settling Cyril into bed, Lennox immediately rushed to the kitchen to prepare a hangover remedy.

The midday sun was perfect. Brilliant, golden light spilled onto the second-floor balcony, casting vivid, dancing shadows through the intricately carved window frames.

The boy on the bed twitched. His lush eyelashes fluttered open, revealing a dark, predatory gleam in his eyes.

Supporting his head, Cyril slowly sat up, a faint trace of red lingering at the corners of his eyes. He wasn't entirely drunk. In this state of mild intoxication, his mind felt sharper than ever.

He wasn't a heavy drinker, and the headache was very real. After sitting in silence for a moment, he noticed the winnings from the chess match resting on his nightstand. The most eye-catching piece was the Turquoise Bracelet from Edmund, an artifact carved from flawless stone that easily cost over a million dollars.

The monetary value was secondary; the real significance was that Edmund had taken it off his own wrist.

He had stolen the entire spotlight at lunch today. A tree that stands too tall catches the wind. If he didn't learn to hide his fangs, people would start targeting him.

After a moment of silence, Cyril got out of bed and walked into his study. He booted up his laptop, typed in a series of commands, and leaned back in his chair, lost in thought.

*Ding—*

A notification popped up in the corner of his screen, alerting him to an intercepted message.

Cyril snapped out of his daze, leaning forward instantly.

There were two intercepted messages this time. What made his pulse spike was that one was from a completely new ID.

*Mr. Lane,*
