Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 244

Upon returning to Obsidian Estate, Bianca stared at Talia with a gaze filled with endless reverence.

Talia rolled her eyes playfully and flicked her daughter's forehead. "Enough of that, silly. Don't let anyone notice anything. I told the patriarch we were going over there to apologize, so keep your mouths shut!"

"Got it," Bianca said, rubbing her forehead with a goofy grin. "If apologizing is always this fun, I'll never get bored."

Talia shot her a warning look before turning to Vivienne. "What's on your mind? You haven't said a word since we left."

Vivienne shook her head. "Nothing. I just wanted to say thank you for today, Talia."

Talia studied her for a moment before affectionately tapping Vivienne's forehead as well. "It's still early. Come with me to Echostone House. I prepared a little something for you. Let's see if you like it."

With that, she pulled a pair of diamond-encrusted sunglasses from her crocodile Birkin bag, slid them onto her face, and strutted through the gates of the estate with absolute diva energy.

Bianca stared at Talia's retreating figure and rubbed her chin. "What is up with wearing sunglasses in the dead of night? I never realized my mom was such a drama queen."

Vivienne glanced sideways at Bianca. She didn't have the heart to tell her that an older Bianca would literally wear sunglasses 24/7—even keeping them on during a two-hour nap while on a camping trip.

The moment Talia stepped into Echostone House, all the maids shifted into high gear, swarming her with practiced precision.

It was a flawless routine. One took her bag, another her coat, and a third handed her a steaming hot towel. They trailed her seamlessly from the courtyard to the Main Hall. By the time Talia sank into the sofa, she had been entirely relieved of her accessories, and she began wiping her hands with the hot towel with the air of a queen caressing her scepter.

Vivienne was speechless.

Was this how Talia lived every day?

Bianca was completely used to it. She patted Vivienne's shoulder. "Sorry about this. My mom had to suppress her vibe at the Whitmore house for way too long." She lowered her voice to a whisper. "Also, don't try to criticize her for it. She won't change."

"What are you two whispering about?" Talia handed the towel back to a maid. "Give them a wipe too."

The maids immediately offered hot towels to the girls, who obediently wiped their hands.

To sit in Athelvia and effortlessly pull strings in Solenforth—even Leander or Lucian Ravenshire might struggle to do that. How on earth did Talia pull it off?

And if she was this powerful, how did she end up being the first person killed off in the previous timeline?

Did she have it wrong from the start? Was Talia's death not just a simple scheme orchestrated by the Whitmore family?

"What are you spacing out about now?"

Talia observed Vivienne, a look of helpless amusement in her eyes. "You've been completely lost in thought since we got back. Did I scare you?"

Vivienne was about to shake her head, but Talia just kept talking. "I couldn't have. My crazy doesn't even hold a candle to your unhinged. The patriarch himself said my ten levels of crazy can't touch your one level of absolute madness."

Vivienne blinked, and by the time she realized what had been said, Talia was looking at her with a wicked smirk. Vivienne didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "Talia, you are totally putting words in Grandpa's mouth."

Talia scoffed playfully. "Well, none of you ever make it easy for me. Alright, stop looking so serious. Go look at your gifts."
