Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 259

Caspian laughed heartily. "Good girl."

He then smiled warmly at Adrian. "Forgive my lack of hospitality. Shall we head into the conservatory for some tea?"

Adrian nodded. "Stealing a half-day of leisure from a busy life. I came here today precisely to beg for a cup of your tea."

"Um... elder Mr. Ravenshire, I've always been fascinated by this kind of classic architecture. Can I go take a walk around?"

Afraid that Caspian would say no, she deliberately clasped her hands together in a pitiable plea. "Please, elder Mr. Ravenshire. I finally get a day to come out and play, and I really don't want to be stuck with my dad the whole time. You'll see later—chatting with him is honestly less fun than going back to my room and taking a nap."

Adrian looked completely exasperated. "You silly girl, couldn't you leave your father a little bit of dignity in front of Mr. Ravenshire?"

"Ah, it's fine." Caspian waved a hand, chuckling as he agreed. "Alright, I'll have someone show you around." He turned to Cedric. "Go fetch Alaric."

"Wait, wait, wait." Sienna quickly interrupted, nervously tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Elder Mr. Ravenshire, I'm actually more familiar with Cyril. Could I go find him to hang out with instead?"

Caspian paused in surprise.

Adrian glanced at Caspian, about to say something.

"Alright," Caspian said smoothly. "Cedric, take Sienna to find Cyril."

Sienna beamed with delight. "Thank you, Mr. Ravenshire."

Blackbriar Wing.

Cyril was wearing headphones, watering the plants on the second-floor balcony when he suddenly heard someone calling his name. The young man turned his head, the bright sunlight catching a faint glint in his deep eyes.

Sienna waved excitedly, her lip movements utterly exaggerated. Even without knowing how to read lips, Cyril knew exactly what she was yelling.

Cyril lowered his gaze, waiting until he had fully soaked the soil of the plant in front of him before taking off his headphones and heading downstairs.

The moment he stepped out of the Main Hall, Sienna rushed up to him, unable to wait. "Cyril, we meet again. Elder Mr. Ravenshire said you could show me around."

Feeling a sudden pang of disappointment, she glanced casually around. "Is this where you live?"

"Yeah," Cyril replied.

Sienna pointed toward the balcony. "I saw you watering plants earlier. Can you take me up to see what kind of flowers you're growing?"

Cyril just looked at her.

The girl immediately explained, "I just saw that elder Mr. Ravenshire grows a ton of gorgeous flowers over at Northwing Court. I'm a little curious. So... can you take me up to take a look?"

"The second-floor terrace connects directly to my bedroom," Cyril stated.

Sienna didn't quite catch on. "And?"

Cyril smiled, though the warmth didn't reach his eyes. "And so, it's not convenient."
