"Huh? Oh."
Such a gentle rejection left Sienna momentarily stunned. But it didn't take long for her to realize the implication, and her face instantly burned as red as a boiled lobster.
Was she out of her mind? Asking to hang out in a guy's bedroom right after arriving—anyone would take that the wrong way.
Sienna let out an awkward laugh, deliberately raising her voice. "Right. On my way here, I saw the courtyard next to yours was completely filled with flowers. From a distance, it looked like a literal sea of blooms. What place is that? Could you take me to see it?"
As soon as she said it, she remembered her previous blunder and quickly tried to do damage control. "Don't tell me that's someone's bedroom again?"
Cyril nodded. "You're probably talking about Vellmont Lodge. Someone does live there."
Everyone gets their own massive, independent courtyard? The Ravenshires were so rich it was practically inhumane.
Sienna looked curious. "Such a beautiful courtyard—does a girl live there? Bianca or Aurelia?"
Before coming, Adrian had given her a dossier on the younger generation of the Ravenshire family, detailing each person's political backing, personality, and preferences.
She remembered that the only legitimate granddaughter in the Ravenshire family was Aurelia. But because of Talia's divorce from the Whitmore family, Bianca was also living at the estate. Naturally, she assumed the beautiful courtyard belonged to one of them.
Cyril shook his head. "Neither. It's Vivienne Lexton."
"Vivienne Lexton?"
Sienna was a little surprised. Her files stated that Vivienne was just an adopted daughter of the Ravenshire family. She hadn't expected her to be this favored.
She thought back for a moment. "Oh, I remember now. She's that gorgeous girl I saw at school last time, right?"
She didn't recognize the name, but that delicate, doll-like face was permanently etched into her memory.
Cyril gave a soft hum of agreement.
Struck by a sudden idea, Sienna clapped her hands together. "Then let's go to Vellmont Lodge and hang out with them."
Cyril's brow furrowed slightly.
