Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 327

"Hey, wait, you haven't explained how we..." Vivienne called out.

"Shut up!" she slapped a hand over Vivienne's mouth. "Are you completely oblivious to how you look? Let me warn you, this place is full of scumbags. Even with the Ravenshire name protecting you, there's always someone crazy enough to try something."

Vivienne pulled Mina's hand away. "Where exactly are we? Why does the school have a place like this? And why did you bring me here?"

"Are you done?" Mina snapped. "So many questions."

Vivienne scowled and turned around. "Fine, I'll go ask them."

"Get back here!" Mina pinched the bridge of her nose, grabbed Vivienne, and hissed, "This is Crestline's Eden Club. Supposedly, the old conglomerate patriarchs were worried their kids would get into trouble out in the real world, so they built a dedicated playground right here on campus."

"But over time, the nature of the place changed. It's not just the elite anymore—good-looking commoners are allowed in, too."

Vivienne nodded slowly. "Ah. So that's the difference between the users and the used."

Mina shot her a sharp look. "Stick close to me and don't wander off. There are people taking drugs in here. If you run into one of those psychos, you'll be in serious trouble."

Vivienne feigned shock. "Drugs?"

"Why are you so surprised?" Mina retorted. "We were born at the finish line everyone else spends their lives trying to reach. Some people get bored and turn to extremes for a thrill."

Vivienne nodded, keeping her tone casual. "You seem pretty familiar with this place. A regular? Do you come here a lot?"

"As if! Absolutely not." Mina hadn't planned on explaining herself, but it suddenly dawned on her that Vivienne was Cyril's sister.

If Vivienne got the wrong idea and whispered poison into Cyril's ear, what would he think of her?

Mina cleared her throat gently. "Sophia and I followed Preston here back in middle school and stumbled upon it. Preston gave us a quick tour, which is the only reason I know my way around."

"Preston Everhart?"

Assuming Vivienne didn't believe her, Mina doubled down. "Don't say I didn't warn you. Preston isn't a third-rate pushover like Harrison Montclair. Those little tricks of yours won't work on him."

Vivienne smiled. She would love to avoid him, but she doubted the Narrative would allow it. With only a 1% deviation in the main plot, a collision course seemed inevitable.

"Alright, I've said all I'm going to say. Follow me."

Mina led Vivienne toward one of the glass rooms shrouded in black velvet curtains and knocked on the door.

"Who is it?"

The voice inside sounded deeply irritated.

"Mina."

"Shit!" the person cursed under his breath.
