Chaos Girl Rewrites the Script novel Chapter 329

Looking thoroughly bored, he poured himself a glass of water. "What do you want?"

"Oh, Mina and her friend want to sneak out to hook up with their boyfriends. They asked me to get them out. By the way, is your chopper still parked on the helipad?"

Preston paused mid-sip and slowly turned to look at Kael. "Hook up with their boyfriends?"

Kael nodded. "Yeah, those two have terrible taste. Their boys are just a couple of nerds from Stormhollow Central High."

Preston set down his glass. "It's still in the usual spot. Go ahead and take it."

"Perfect." Kael spun around and left the room.

Once Kael was gone, Preston picked up his water glass again and pointed the remote at the massive screen. The display instantly shifted, bringing up the security feed from the elevator just minutes ago. It paused on the exact moment Vivienne tilted her head to smile at the camera.

Her smile was undeniably sweet, her eyes curving beautifully. It looked affectionate yet completely dismissive—a perfect cocktail of provocation and absolute innocence.

Preston took a slow sip of water, picked up the phone from the table, and dialed a number.

"Julian... it looks like your little sister just snuck out to chase some boys."

Mina could never have imagined that Kael's escape plan would be so extravagant—he had literally secured them a helicopter. Even more shocking was the fact that Kael, who seemed like an absolute delinquent, actually knew how to pilot the damn thing!

Vivienne, however, looked entirely unbothered. She had been in this chopper before. It belonged to Preston.

Finding a landing zone near Stormhollow Central High wasn't easy, so Kael had coordinated with a hotel he frequented. After landing on the hotel's helipad, they took a taxi straight to the school. The only reason they were actually heading to the high school was because Kael insisted on tagging along.

When a guy wanted to gossip, girls couldn't even compete. Kael even had a pair of binoculars slung around his neck. "Relax, I know how to read the room. Once you meet up with your boys, I'm out."

It was the first day of the semester, right in the middle of the lunch break, and the entrance to Stormhollow Central High was swarming with students.

Mina rubbed her temples. "What are we supposed to do now?"
