The question caught her completely off guard. Vivienne's eyes flickered, a trace of disbelief in her gaze. "You? Back then?"
Bianca smiled and held up her hand, mimicking a gun. "Bianca, look down on him."
Although Vivienne had never explicitly said anything, Bianca always had a feeling. She felt that the bullet from when she was twelve would echo through her entire life, eventually hitting a future version of herself at a specific moment.
Even though Vivienne had never explained the true meaning of that day, Bianca just knew that she had been reborn after the Alderwick incident. She was Bianca, but also not the same Bianca.
Vivienne stared at Bianca's hand gesture, momentarily stunned. A moment later, Vivienne’s gaze softened with relief as she reached out to pat Bianca’s hand. "No, you two are different."
Bianca had been completely unaware. Her labels had been torn away under Vivienne's guidance, so she hadn't suffered the narrative's backlash or correction.
But Aurelia was different. She was stumbling blindly through the abyss alone. Even if she managed to carve out a bloody path for herself, she would likely end up completely shattered and apathetic, just like in her past life.
Bianca didn't dwell on the topic and immediately threw out a new question. "So, are we going to help her?"
Vivienne didn't answer right away. Instead, she asked, "Do you want to help her?"
Bianca thought for a moment. "If she doesn't conflict with what you're trying to do, then yes."
Vivienne blinked. "What I'm trying to do?"
"Yes."
Vivienne went quiet for a moment, her expression growing serious. "Bianca, do you know what I'm trying to do?"
Bianca nodded. "I have a vague guess. It's about Grandfather, right?"
