Chapter 113 A Dangerous Outfit
Julian spotted them through the windshield before they noticed the car.
Two girls stepped out of the building together.
Both were beautiful, but in completely different ways.
Fished
Their outfits were simple, casual, the kind of clothes you would expect to see on college campuses. They looked fresh, lively, full of that effortless energy people have when the world has not worn them down yet.
It suddenly made sense why they thought a twenty–eight–year–old man was “old.”
They were simply too young.
The moment they reached the curb, the car caught their attention.
Julian rarely drove the same car twice when he went out.
But there was one thing every car had in common. They were all ridiculously expensive.
Even Lucy had never seen this one before. She leaned closer, trying to
check the license plate first.
Then she knocked on the passenger window. The tinted glass slid down.
Julian’s face appeared.
Lucy’s eyes widened instantly. “Julian? What are you doing here?”
Then her expression shifted from surprise to full shock.
“Wait. What are you wearing?”
Lucy spent way too much time scrolling through videos online. With the holidays coming up, influencers and celebrities had been posting outfit videos nonstop.
There was a trend going around lately.
Girls called it “the most dangerous thing a man can wear.”
In reality, it was just a fitted turtleneck sweater. But the internet was right about one thing.
That piece of clothing was brutally honest about a man’s body. If someone was even slightly out of shape. the result was a disaster.
On the other hand, if a guy had the right build… The effect could be lethal.
Julian was sitting behind the wheel, wearing a black fitted turtleneck instead of his usual suit.
His neck was long, his jawline sharp, and his shoulders wide enough to stretch the sweater in all the right places. His waist narrowed cleanly beneath it.

Lucy knew exactly what was under that sweater. Eight perfectly defined abs.
The outfit should have looked simple. Instead it looked unfair.
Lucy swallowed before she could stop herself.
“Julian,” she muttered, half serious, half dramatic, “how am I supposed to watch those videos again after seeing this? None of those guys even come close.”
Julian looked mildly confused. “What videos?”
He frowned slightly. “Get in the car. Passenger seat.”
Lucy turned around immediately. “Quinn, hurry up.”
Only then did Quinn realize who was driving.
Julian had come himself. She opened the rear door and sat down.
“Mr. Sterling.”
Julian glanced at her briefly in the rearview mirror and nodded once. He did not say anything.
Lucy was still standing outside the passenger door, hesitating.
“Julian,” she said, leaning down slightly, “isn’t the passenger seat supposed to be the girlfriend seat? I sit there all the time. That feels weird.”
Julian answered calmly, “If I had a girlfriend, she would sit in the back with me.”
Lucy blinked. “The passenger seat is for assistant
or security,” he added. “Now get in.”
Lucy raised an eyebrow. “So if you’re driving yourself, your girlfriend still sits in the back?”
Julian gave her a flat look. “Get in the car.”
Lucy climbed into the seat reluctantly.
She did not like sitting that close to him. Yes, he was extremely handsome.
But he was also terrifying. By then Quinn had clearly seen what Julian was wearing.
She paused for a second.
She had to admit something she rarely admitted out loud.
Julian was the most impressive man she had ever met. No comparison.
Setting aside family background and status, just looking at him as a man, everything about him was exceptional.
Julian’s height, appearance, physique, and presence were all top tier. Some actors might have prettier faces, but they lacked his quiet authority and natural elegance. Other men might be more muscular, yet

their faces could never compete with his. And personally, Quinn had always thought Julian’s physique was just right. She had never liked men who were overly bulky, but his muscles were sculpted with a sense of balance and restraint, the kind that made his chest and abs look especially striking.
For a fleeting moment, she even remembered how they had felt beneath her hand.
Quinn froze, and her face instantly turned hot.
What on earth am I thinking about?
“Quinn!”
Lucy twisted around in her seat. “Why is your face so red? Are you overheating?”
The heater inside the car was running.
Quinn felt mortified. She had no idea why that memory suddenly popped into her head.
Maybe it was because Julian looked completely different today.
Normally he dressed in formal suits that made him look distant and authoritative.
Tonight he looked… dangerous.
Elegant, confident, and magnetic in a way that was impossible to ignore. There was a kind of tension around him that made people nervous to stare too long.
The kind that made your heart beat faster. The first time Quinn saw him, she had already felt it.
Lucy often talked about certain celebrities having “chemistry.”
But after meeting Julian, Quinn felt like no man she had ever seen had more presence than him.
Part of it came from his height. But most of it came from his aura.
He could simply stand somewhere and instantly embody strength and confidence. Like right now.
Just looking at Julian made Quinn’s thoughts drift somewhere she would rather not go. It was a strange contradiction. She hated men getting close to her and instinctively rejected intimacy, yet her mind kept replaying the memory of Julian’s perfectly defined body as if it had a will of its own.
As if that weren’t enough, she had also chosen to wear a black turtleneck sweater today. Lucy’s sweater had a V–neck with decorative stitching, while Quinn’s was completely plain, simple and without any accessories at all. From a distance, it almost looked as though she and Julian had intentionally chosen matching outfits.
