Quinn hesitated before answering. “Then I’ll think about it.”

“Alright,” Julian said. “Are you free tomorrow?”

Quinn blinked in surprise. “Me?”

Lucy looked puzzled as well. “Hold on, who are you asking, Seven? Me or Quinn?”

“Quinn,” he replied.

Quinn felt her heart tremble slightly. He had called her name so casually.

“Wait, Seven,” Lucy said curiously. “Why are you asking Quinn if she’s free? What’s going on?”

Julian replied, “Isn’t she making me an outfit?”

Lucy immediately turned to Quinn.

Quinn said, “I will make it. I’ve just been busy lately. Would it be alright if I start in a few days?”

“I’m not in a hurry,” Julian said. “Just reach out when you have time.”

Lucy quickly chimed in, “Seven, you don’t need to worry. Quinn always keeps her word. If she says she’ll make something for you, she definitely will.”

“Alright,” Julian said. Then he added, “I’ll have someone help you move tomorrow afternoon.”

Lucy blinked in surprise. “That fast?”

Julian continued, “And from now on, don’t share a bed with anyone except your husband.”

Lucy looked stunned. “What? I can’t even share a bed with my friends?”

“You can’t,” Julian replied coolly.

“Fine, fine. Got it.”

Lucy had always listened to him.

Seeing that she agreed, Julian’s tone softened a little. “If you need anything, tell my secretary and he’ll take care of it.”

After the call ended, Lucy slumped onto the table. “My cousin can be so weird sometimes.”

“I’m sorry, but no,” Quinn interrupted. “If you were in my position and your spouse had done the same things he did, would you forgive them? I’m not a saint. I can’t do that.”

“I understand how you feel,” Charles said. “And I do sympathize with your situation. Let me talk to him again. I’ll give you an answer by tomorrow at the latest.”

“Thank you for your help,” Quinn replied. “I don’t want to contact him anymore. Please tell him this for me. Even if I died, I would never forgive him, and I would never live with him again.”

After ending the call, the frustration inside her still lingered.

It was not just that she did not want to contact Chase. Even thinking about him made her feel sick.
