Chapter 147

Breathing heavily, trying to stay conscience, I look up at Andy. Who has taken a break from destroying me. Why?” I ask, because he was never nice to me, but to team up with Clara… For this…
He turns glaring at me, then shrugs. “Guess you won’t be leaving this room anyway. She’s, my mate.” I feel all the blood in my body freeze. What?!
I’ve always been told mates mean everything to people that get them. Yet, he’s watching his mate try to get with someone else?
“She’s going to become Luna, then kill Liam. Then I’ll be Alpha when she marries me.” He says with all the confidence in the world. I just shake my head at him, “She’s using you.” I tell him.
He snarls at me, “You don’t know what you’re talking about.” He growls and I grimace. Not wanting him to continue beating me.
“I know she’s loved Liam for as long as I can remember. I know she’s done everything to get rid of me to get to him.” I try to make him see. He just snarls again, “It’s all apart of the plan!” He shouts, coming to stand in front of my face.
He’s getting so defensive I know even he doesn’t believe his words. “The plan where you become Alpha? That isn’t how it works! The Luna doesn’t pick the next Alpha! Have you ever heard of that happening?” I ask him pleadingly, hoping this will work.
Even I know that’s not how it works. Not to mention Liam has an heir now, but I won’t be bringing that up.
He seems to think about it, then stands up straighter, “I trust her.” He says and I physically deflate. He’s just as delusional as her. I pull at the ties, they’ve loosened, but not enough.
‘Hello, Amy.’ I hear a voice in my head and nearly have a heart attack. ‘It feels so good to finally be with you.’
Oh my Goddess! My wolf! She’s finally here!
Taking off the necklace didn’t make her immediately appear. Which makes sense since it didn’t happen last time either, but she’s finally here! ‘Leah!’ I say into my mind. Not really sure how it works.
‘I’m here, Amy. And we’re going to get out of this.’ She tells me and I almost audibly let out a breath of air, but stop myself, not wanting Andy to get suspicious.
I can feel my body getting stronger, but not nearly enough. ‘Your bodies still weak. We’ll have to be smart about this. Can you twist your wrist? Have your palm facing up?’ Leah asks and I instantly start trying.
Andy looks over at me, clearly still pissed about what I’ve put onto his head, regardless of if we both know it’s the truth. “Fuck! You mess everything up! Constantly! Why’d you even come back? Clara almost had him!” He roars in anger. Throwing his fist at my chest and punching me so hard I swear I hear bones cracking.
I wheeze in my next breath, still twisting my wrist. “I was gone for six years.” Cough. “If Liam wanted Clara, he had plenty of time to have her.” Cough. “Even you know I’m not just some whore that’s throwing myself at him.” Cough. “He loves me. He’s always loved me.” Cough. Fuck my chest hurts. “You can try and deny it, if you want, but we all know it. He waited six years for me to return. Clara means nothing to him. If I die it won’t change that fact. You will never be Alpha of this pack. Even if it was possible I wouldn’t allow it.” I finish.

My claw breaking through the rope on my wrist. He chuckles and turns around, walking to a table nearby. Fuck.’ Hurry Amy.’ Leah says into my head as he looks over the mixture of torture equipment on the table.
I quickly cut the ties on the rest of my limb and stand up. My body morphs quickly, the pain coming second to all the other pain on my body.
I stand behind him in my wolf form, when he turns around. “You’re really starting to piss me off. What do you think you’re going…” He cuts off when he finally looks from the sharp scalpel he chooses and sees me missing. His eyes go wide.
Leah growls low and menacing. Not a warning, Andy’s about to die. We pounce before he can comprehend what is happening.
Leah goes straight for his throat and rips it clean out, before he can even scream. A low growl leaves her throat as she throws the skin and blood to the ground and heads for the door. Clearly not done.
She walks out the door that Clara so kindly left open for us and takes off in a sprint.
