Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 154

Chapter 154

It feels wrong, being this far away from Liam, when everything is about to go down, but there’s nothing that can be done since we’re going this route.

I hate this with every fiber of my being. I hate the fact that they’re all putting themselves in danger, again, to help me. If anyone gets hurt… ‘Stop. We all love you and want this for you. And don’t even pretend that you wouldn’t be the first on board to do this, if it was one of us instead of you.’ Liam says into my mind, and I sigh. ‘I love you.’ I tell him, still thinking of what could happen.

I understand what he’s saying, but it really doesn’t make it that much easier. My main concerns are everyone making it out of this and Liam and I can get our kids back here safely.

They deserve to not grow up like I did. They deserve the world, and hopefully this will make that happen for them.

Mia walks over to Hazel and me, putting her phone in her pocket. “Dallas and Nick are in position and so is Walker.” She says, and I nod. “Liam too.” Hazel nods. “Cole as well. It’s time to get started.”

All of them are a mile out, spread out into a star shape, at exact locations. Each of them having to light a candle at their positions.

“Are we sure about this?” I ask them and Mia’s face softens as she puts her hand on my arm. “Yes, Amy. We’re all sure.” She says and I let out a loud breath.

I’m not ready for this. This is the end of something, weather it be us or him. I’m hopeful that we can remove the evil from him, from what I saw, he could be a good dad. Though, he hated werewolves enough to allow the evil into him so he could kill them, he might not want anything to do with me. He might just not want me dead.

Hazel moves to the center of the circle, sitting on the ground and closing her eyes, whispering under her breath. While Mia and I start looking around.

He has to come tonight. There’s no reason for him to wait. I’m right here in the open. But what if he wants my kids with me? What if he’s waiting for that? He can’t have my kids; I won’t allow it!

The dread goes on and on, waiting patiently for what could be my death, if not everyone else’s.

“What’s your little witch friend doing?” A deep voice, I would recognize anywhere says from behind me. Mia and I both whip around, and see my father scrolling slowly over to us, like he doesn’t have a care in the world. Like he didn’t come to kill his daughter.

Though I guess to the evil inside him, I’m nothing more than another soul for him. I wonder what happens if my soul goes to him. Hazel says my mom watches over me, so can it really be that bad? You still get to look after the people you love? ‘Let’s not find out. I love you. Don’t let him touch you.’ Liam says protectively in my ear. I know he hates not being right next to me, as much as I hate it, but we all have a role to play, now it’s my turn.

Part one complete, get him inside the perimeter of the star. Now, we need to make it so Hazel can get her hands on him.

“You know she can’t kill me, right?” My father says, and my head swivels to glance back at Hazel, then back to him. “Who says we want to kill you?” I ask, swallowing my fear and trying to look brave.

I’m sure it’s not convincing after the numerous times I cowardly hide or ran or shivered in his presence, but I try

all the same.

An evil smile graces his face, while I inwardly grimace.

‘You are the bravest and strongest of us all, Angel. You think because you ran it makes you weak, but what it made you was smart. Walker is right, if you hadn’t left, we’d likely all be dead trying to protect you. You ran away from the comforts of everything you’ve ever known. You left the only people in this world that mattered to you to keep us all safe. Something I don’t even think I would have done. You’ve fought most of your life for acceptance and when you finally get it, you’re forced to leave it. There are so many things that make you strong, even if your body tells you you’re weak. You’ve fought for this moment for longer than even you realized, now straighten your spine and show that fucker the Luna you’re meant to be.’ Liam says, aggressively into my head, no doubt wanting to be here instead of a mile away.

A smile forms on my face, because he’s right. Everything I did, was to keep everyone I love protected, and up til this moment it’s worked. I refuse to back down and cower from this.

I straighten my spine and watch as Mia slowly starts moving around him. My father watches her out of the corner of his eyes, then looks back at me. “You can’t trap me either.” He states and I shrug. “That’s to be determined.” I say nonchalantly.

He looks around him and runs fast towards the back of Liam’s house. Right to where one of the lines on the ground are starting to glow blue. I look passed it and see the star forming on the ground. It’s working.
