Chapter 166
I roll my eyes and push Liam off of me. Liam grunts but goes easily as I stand up and look over at Dallas. “Just the person I wanted to see.” I tell him and he winks at me then smirks looking over at Liam who growls in warning.
I chuckle, “Isn’t it about time you get over Dallas pretend flirting with me?” I chuckle, looking at Liam. He shrugs pulling me towards his chest, “Can’t blame me for worrying someone might take you from me.” He whispers, looking into my eyes and I roll them. “No one will ever take me from you, Liam. You are my first, last and only love.” I tell him, looking into his eyes and running my fingers through his hair.
He smiles, then looks behind me towards Dallas. With one final glare he pulls away from me and walks over to his desk.
Dallas walks over to me smiling and sits on top of my desk and looks back at me. “Whatcha need me for?” He asks and my smile widens. “We’re planning a ball. Mind-link Nick, I already have Hazel and Mia on their way over.” I tell him and he jumps off the desk excitedly and claps his hands together.
“Perfect! What for?” He asks, and I glance over at Liam who has a smirk on his face, before answering. “Just getting the packs together.” I answer, and Dallas eyes me. “You’re lying, but I don’t care. I’m excited!” Dallas exclaims and I laugh at him.
“My mom would probably like to help.” Liam says and my eyes widen. “Why didn’t I think of that? This is right up her alley!” I exclaim and quickly mind-link Julia.
“Alright, let’s head to the planning room!” I say looking at Dallas. Then I walk over to Liam giving him a kiss, then following Dallas out.
“Have fun!” Liam yells from behind us and I look back smiling at him.
I look back at Dallas, “What’d you come to the office for?” I ask him and he shrugs. “I was bored. Figured I could convince you to play hooky for awhile. But this is fun too!” He explains and I laugh. “You could always do your job.” I tell him and he looks down at me and smirks.
“My job is to keep you protected, and you’re all boring anymore. No longer trying to get yourself killed at every turn and all. And Walker has pretty much taken over training the warriors. He barely listens to my suggestions.” He explains and I roll my eyes. “The last suggestion I heard about was you wanting them all to wear top hats so we can easily tell them apart from the enemy.” I deadpan and he smirks. “I was mostly joking.” He says and I shake my head smiling.
“I think Walker has it under control. I need you here anyway.” I tell him, grabbing his arm and pulling him faster towards the planning room.
When we walk in Nick and Mia are already in the room. I walk over to Mia giving her a big hug, then walk over to Nick and give him a hug also. “Are you guys ready for this?” I ask them and they both smile. “You know we are!” Mia says, grabbing a binder from her bag and throwing it on the table.
“I’ve been waiting forever for you guys to throw a ball!” Mia exclaims, opening up the binder and flipping through its contents.
I laugh at her eagerness, just as Julia and Hazel walk in.
“Mia have you even considered how good we could decorate with my powers.” Hazel tells her and Mia’s eyes

light up like a Christmas tree.
“Oh my Goddess! No! But I am now! Hazel and I call decorating!” Mia exclaims and I nod.
That is actually the perfect combo.
“Nick and I will work on invitations.” Dallas says, and I nod again. “Perfect. Julia and I will organize and I’d say music, but I might need to add that to your guys list.” I say looking over at Hazel and Mia, who both nod excitedly.
We all know music isn’t my strong suit, and Julia has an older taste.
“Alright lets get started!”
We work for hours, discussing and planning until we finally decide it’s time for a break.
We go downstairs for lunch and run into all the guys. “How’s the planning going?” Liam asks me, as he pulls me to him and wraps his arms around me. “Great!”
“Do you think a month is enough time for all the packs to make sure they don’t have any plans?” I ask him and he purses his lips. “It’s a little quick, but I’m sure it’ll be fine.” He responds and I smile.
“I just want it to already be here. Julia already talked me out of having it in two weeks.” I chuckle and he shakes
his head.
