Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 170

Chapter 170

I’m actually pretty excited about this ball. It’s something different and there’s going to be plenty of people there that I’ve never meant before. (1

I might secretly hope that I find my mate tonight, and I’m pretty sure that’s why my mom is throwing the ball in the first place, but I’m not letting myself get overly excited about that idea.

I got overly excited when I turned eighteen, and nothing happened. No use getting myself all excited again.

I look over at Lenny. He’s dressed almost a nicely as I am, and I honestly think he secretly wants to find his mate as well. He wants to settle down, even if he refuses to attempt it. It would also be helpful; I can’t have a Beta who sleeps with every girl he sees. That’ll only cause issues in the pack.

My dad walks into the room we’re all getting ready in, and Cole walks in with Randy and Finn running in behind him. “Stop running!” Cole shouts, but they don’t listen.

Cole rolls his eyes and looks at dad, “I swear uncontrollable. I need to get Aspen in here. I swear she’s the only person they listen to.” Cole jokes and dad laughs. “They’ll grow out of it.” He shrugs and Cole looks at him like he’s stupid. “They’re fourteen. I think if they planned on listening to us, it would have started by now. Not all of us can have perfect twins.” Cole tells him and dad shakes his head.

He looks over at me and smiles, “Yeah. You’re probably right.” He responds, causing me to chuckle.

Cole walks over to me, “So, have you thought more about who your gamma and delta are going to be? I have some options.” He asks, and I turn to look at him like he’s stupid. “You literally just called them uncontrollable.” I deadpan and he smiles. “Yeah, but so am I and Liam loves me.” He jokes and I laugh. “We’ll see.” I tell him.

I don’t really have a timeline on the whole Alpha thing, but they do want me to start making my choices. My dad pretty much knew his since he was a kid, but I’ve only got Lenny. No one else has stood out to me.

I’m not against thinking about Randy and Finn, but I do need them to grow up before I’ll consider them. They’re still young though, and even if I take over before they’re ready, Dallas and Cole will hold the positions until the time is right for them to take over.

Cole chuckles and slaps my shoulder just as the rest of the leaders make their way into the room. Dallas looks down at his cuff, adjusting it with a smirk on his face. “You guys are about to lose your minds with how good those girls look.” Walker and Cole both groan, but dad looks over at me smirking.

Like he knows I’ll freak out if they start talking weird in front of me.

I roll my eyes and turn around to look in the mirror. I’m looking pretty fancy if I do say so myself. My mom is definitely going to flip out. I chuckle to myself.
