We say goodbye to all our guest the next day as they leave. Nadia took Griffon with her to help her move all her things here. She’s going to be staying here so they can move forward and begin creating a relationship.

Cole jumps on my back as we watch the last of the cars leave. “So! Are you excited about Griff finding his mate? I bet that takes a load off your back.” He says and I smile. “Sure. She seems sweet.” I tell him and he eyes me suspiciously.

I shake my head and chuckle. “It’s just something I’ll have to get used to. I figured it’d be easier since I already went through it with Heather and Heather moved away, but I’m still having to process.” I explain and he tilts his head. “You know he couldn’t be a mommy’s boy forever, right?” He jokes and I roll my eyes at him. “He stopped being a mommy’s boy years ago. That’s not what concerns me.” I tell him as Liam walks up behind me and wraps an arm around my waist.

“What are you worried about then, Angel?” He asks sweetly and I purse my lips.

I had chosen to not tell Liam my worries. He’s really excited that Griff found his mate and I don’t want everyone in the pack to start acting like Dallas is.

Even now I can see he has me in eye view, but he’s backed off a bit since Nadia left the pack.

I shake my head, “Nothing. Just sad to see Griff leave is all.” I tell him and he gives me a sly smile. “Whole house to ourselves for a few nights.” He whispers, leaning down into my ear and kissing my neck.

Julia and John don’t stay here much anymore. They bought a house on the outskirts of the pack and are there most of the time now, but…

“That’s my cue.” Cole says saluting us with two fingers and walking away. I roll my eyes at him and look back at Liam. “Our house is never empty.” I tell him turning so I can wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist. He smirks, “I can make sure it is.” He tells me and I smirk up at him. I do like where this is going.

He leans down and slowly kisses from my shoulder to my ear, and I melt into him. Neither of us seeming to care that anybody could see us right now if they wanted to.

“Maybe we can lock ourselves up in the house for a few days and not come out until they get back. Walker can take care of things for a few days.” He whispers and I chuckle.

“Oh yeah? We haven’t taken a few days to ourselves since our ceremonies. How could we now?” I ask him and he shrugs. “Everything’s okay right now. Plus, I have to start training Griffon on a few more things now that he’s found his mate, so I can’t do those things right now anyway.” He explains and I smile warmly and push up on my tippy toes to kiss his lips.

“We’ll start tonight. I’m still meeting the girls for afternoon tea, but after that I’m all yours.” I tell him seductively and he smiles, then kisses me on the lips again. “I look forward to it. I’ll get everything I can get done before then.” He tells me, then I hear Dallas fake cough behind us.

I give Liam a ‘what can you do’ look as he glares back at Dallas, and I hear him chuckle. “From the sounds of it, you’ll have her to yourself for the next couple of days. I get her now.” He tells Liam and Liam’s glare turns harder.

It’s not uncommon for them to fall into these little battles over me, but normally they’re in good fun. Liam doesn’t usually get actually mad, but he sounds it right now.
