Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 214

Chapter 214

As soon as I hear the voice, I spin around and some sort of dust is blown in my face and next thing I know my body flies backwards. Slamming into the wall and causing a sharp pain to go from my spine to the back of my

head.

I yank at the invisible chains locking me to the wall, but it’s useless. I’m trapped.

I look up and see a girl, I would say she’s barely even twenty. Short pixie cut with ginger hair. Sharp jawline and eyes so dark, they look black.

She tilts her head to look at me. While I try to contact anyone, but I can’t.

A smile slowly grows on her face as she continues to study me.

“You can keep trying, but no one will be able to hear you. They can’t even feel that you’re in trouble. You’re cut off from everybody, even your wolf.” She looks down at the table and grabs a small bottle full of powder and looks at it like it’s her prized possession. “This powder is quite amazing.” She says as she begins studying the powder with a creepy smile.

I look around the room and see a table full of melted black candles and piled high with books. A pentagram painted on the floor, with black candles placed inside and… Oh Goddess… Bones. Goddess, please let that be animal bones. Then I look at the computer sitting on the couch.

I see camera footage of the entire house. Liam and my room, the office, Griffon’s room, the living room, game room and the kitchen. She’s been watching everything.

“You’ve been here the whole time.” I whisper and then turn my head back to her. She’s still standing there studying me, like I’m an ant in a cage.

She stares blankly at me for a moment, before perking up and putting a wide smile on her face. “Nope! I came here after the first search.” She responds and I shake my head. “I figured you guys would check here at least once, so I waited.” She explains and my eyes squeeze shut.

We’re so stupid! We’ve been trying to find this witch for weeks and she was right under our nose pretty much the whole time!

My body starts shaking from anger, and I look up glaring at the witch while her smile only grows. “Getting angry won’t help. You’re barely able to beat anyone with your wolf, without it you’re useless.” She says smirking like this is the best time she’s had in ages.

I growl, even though I know she’s right. I hate how weak I am, if nothing else it’d be nice to be stronger so maybe Dallas wouldn’t feel as determined to be up my ass all the time.

I pull at the invisible chains again, but again it’s useless.

I look over at the laptop, seeing the guys running around from room to room. Her gaze follows mine, “What do you think? Do you think they’ll check here?” She asks, but I just glare at her. She smiles, “Doesn’t matter. They won’t get in. There’s a reason it’s a panic room, and now the doors locked.” She cackles. I look at her, “Why are you doing this?”

She claps her hands and looks back at me. “That’s the question, isn’t it? It’s nothing personal, Aims. It’s just my job.” She responds and my eyes narrow on her. “Who are you working for?” I ask her and an evil smile crosses

her face. “Not who you think.” She giggles and my mind instantly goes to Nadia.

If it’s not Nadia, who is it?

She turns back to the laptop, “Looks like there’s a fight. Gods! I love watching your guy’s drama filled life. It’s like you just can’t live without the drama!” She says excitedly, and I glance at the screen seeing Liam backing Nick into a wall.

Please, Liam. Don’t hurt him. I need to be out there. Settle this. Nick is just scared. He doesn’t deserve this.

“We we’re fine before you showed up.” I grit out and she turns with an evil smirk on her face.

“We’re you?” She asks and I just narrow my eyes at her, not answering. I don’t need to repeat it. It’s been bliss since the drama with my dad was finished.

“You’ve had someone planning your demise for years! Maybe life seemed great, but this was always going to happen. You were always going to fail and die one way or another. If not your father, then us.” She says cryptically.

She smirks, “You may have all those boys fawning over you, even that wolf bitch and trader witch, but maybe you’re not as well liked as you like to believe. I mean half the pack thinks you’re a whore now. None of them are loyal to you. They’ve all hated you since you were a lonely human bitch living here with her human bitch mother.” She stops, while my anger just grows and glares at me. “They’re not loyal to you, they’re only loyal to Liam. They just tolerate you.” She finishes.
