“We don’t think we’re superior.” I growl, and she clicks her tongue. “You wolves have been forcing my kind to hide. You always need something, because you’re always busy getting yourselves in scrapes you can’t get out of by yourself. You would be dead right now if not for Hazel.” She says shaking her head.

My eyes narrow, “It was a witch that started that. If they never changed my father, I wouldn’t have needed her help.” I grit out. She shrugs, “A witch still had to fix it.” She song sings.

My anger only grows in her presence. My need to kill this witch, that has only caused me problems. “Maybe we are superior, if you have to hide from us.” I tell her, because apparently, I can’t keep my mouth shut right now.

She turns glaring at me, “It’s simply numbers. You guys have us beat three hundred to one, if not more.” She stops for a second, as if she needs to consider it, then looks back up at me, “Yep! More.” She says all perky, and it just makes me want to rip her throat out more.

“Enough of all this… Talking. I need your blood.” She says, turning towards the table and grabbing a knife off it. The silver shimmers in the light, as I yank at my arm with all my strength, just trying to get something loose.

My arm suddenly moves, but it’s not me who moves it. She pulls it out from the wall and kicks a bucket under it.

No. No. No!

“Stop! I thought you said we were friends!” I shout, trying to placate her, and turn this around.

She looks up at me, considering my offer with a wicked smile. “Oh Aims, we are friends, but I still have a job to do, and I need your Luna blood.” She says and I shake my head, willing all of this to be a dream.

“Why?” I rush out, trying to give myself more time. She grabs my wrist and slits it open with the silver knife. I let out a scream as the blood starts rushing from my wrist to the bucket.

The witch looks up at me, “Because, Luna and Alpha blood is really good for spell work, and because I need to make a perfume for someone. Maybe with that, Liam can get it up enough to finish.” She cackles, and my blood starts to boil.

They’re not done here. Even once I die, this isn’t the end for this pack. They have more planned. My death will solve nothing. I don’t even know if they care if I die or not, this is all about getting me out of the way so someone can have Liam.

Clara’s face flashes in my mind, but no one has seen her, heard from her, nothing.

Then I think about her parents. Did something happen there? Is that why they were targeted?

I finally decide bitchy and nice aren’t going to work on this girl. Maybe smart will.

“You’re powerful enough to not just murder someone, but to obliterate them. Why are you working for some wolf?” I ask her, as the blood continues to pool out of me, and my mind starts going fuzzy.

She smiles, the moves to my other side, kicking another bucket and pulling my arm from the wall. She slits my other wrist, and I think I scream, but I’m not sure anymore.

“Who says that was me? And who said I was working for a wolf?” She asks, her face twisting as she waits for an
