Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 224

Chapter 224

My eyes stay glued to the screen, while I watch hours of footage with Dallas and Mia, who joined us not long after Liam left.

We speed through parts where there’s no activity and slow it down any time we see anything unusual.

I click on the game room footage, making it full screen when I suddenly see Nadia walking into the game room.

Why was she down there alone?

She slowly walks through the room, looking around like she’s scared someone’s about to jump out at her, then walks off screen, walking towards the panic room.

Is this the proof I need?

She doesn’t come into view for hours, then she finally reemerges and walks through the house and up the stairs then we lose her.

“That’s not good.” Mia whispers, and I shake my head agreeing with her. “Do you think?” I don’t finish.

As much as I don’t want it to be true for Griffon’s sake, I’ve also had a bad feeling about her since she got here and this doesn’t help.

Dallas places his hand on my thigh, and I look over at him, his eyes are sad, but his teeth are clenched. “Let’s keep watching. See if we can find something that proves everything more.”

I nod, moving the screen back to see all of the footage and pushing play.

‘You need to rest.’ Liam says into my head, and I smile shaking my head slightly and continuing to look at the

screen.

‘I’m okay, Liam.’ I tell him and I hear him sigh in my head.

‘You have one more hour before I come in there and kick them out and force you to sleep.’ He responds and a small chuckle leaves my lips.

There’s weeks of footage to get through with this, I highly doubt I’m going to get through all of it in the next hour, but I’m going to try.

Liam true to his word gave us one more hour before coming into the room. “Out.” He tells them sternly, then walks over to the bed, grabbing the laptop, closing it and moving it to the nightstand.

Dallas and Mia both get up begrudgingly and walk out of the room as Liam looks down at me lovingly as I look up at him innocently. Grabbing for his hand and pulling him down into the bed with me.

He growls playfully as he lays down next to me and pulls me into his chest. I laugh as I lay my head on his chest. “I love you.” I whisper and his hold on me tightens. “I love you more than words can explain, Angel. Sleep.” He growls and I smile as sleep quickly finds me being wrapped in his arms.

I wake up with my head splitting and groan in pain as I sit up in bed grabbing at my head. Liam’s upright instantly, reaching over to the nightstand for the pain pills and my bottle of water.

I take them gratefully and smile at him. “Thank you.” I whisper and he grabs my cheek looking into my eyes like

he’s looking for something. “Are you okay?” He swallows and keeps looking at me like I might just fall apart in

front of him.

I give him a reassuring smile, “I’m fine, Liam. I promise. Just a headache.” He takes a deep breath and leans over to kiss my on the forehead. Sighing deeply, he pulls away, “I’m going to go get you some food.” He tells me, before getting out of bed and leaving the room.

Dallas is instantly back in bed with me, and I shake my head as he gets next to me under the blankets and makes himself comfortable.

I look back at the door, praying to the Goddess that Liam will find peace soon. He’s under so much pressure right now and I don’t know how to help him, other than finding this witch and finally putting an end to this.

I grab for the laptop, placing it on my lap and leaning back into the bed. I look over at Dallas and his face is sad and tired and it makes me want to end this even more.

“Dals, please tell me you’ve talked to him.” I beg him and he looks down at his fingers as they twist up into the blanket shaking his head.
