Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 260

Chapter 260

When my eyes open again, they’re all staring between Aspen and I worriedly. My teeth grit, but I don’t say anything.

Aspen just keeps staring at me, her hand on the doorknob and mouth hanging open. “No. No. No. It’s supposed to be over. We’re supposed to be happy.” She says frustrated, as angry tears start to come to her eyes.

“What?” Liam shouts, then he looks at me. “What aren’t you telling me?” He asks a little calmer, and I swallow, still not answering him.

Aspen shakes her head, “What do we do? How do we fix this?” She asks, and I shake my head. A sob racks through my chest, I know I won’t be able to hide it anymore. Aspen’s reaction made it clear that this isn’t over.

“I don’t know if we can.” I whisper, this glance at Liam. His mouth slightly open as he looks between us. His eyes catch mine, and he walks over to me and wraps me in his arms. “What is going on?” He whispers and I look around the room.

“Can you get everyone in here?” I look at Mia. She nods, “Dallas and Griffon aren’t in the waiting room, but Heather, Walker, Cole and Nick are on their way.” She responds. I nod, “Okay. Can you just mind-link them?” I ask and Mia looks over at Liam, then shakes her head.

“No. We’re not in their pack anymore.” Mia answer

and my eyes widen. “What?” I look around, and no one will make eye contact. “Someone is going to tell me what the fuck happened?” I growl, and Liam squeezes me.

I shake my head, “No. No more hiding this. It’s obvious something’s happened and I need to know why everything feels so off with everyone.” I tell him sternly.

He closes his eyes but eventually opens them and nods. He wants to know what happened to.

Aspen leaves and comes back with Griffon and Dall contact? Did everyone leave the pack except for them?

I eye them. Why are

I eye them. Why are they the only ones who they can’t

“We need to discuss why this isn’t over first.” Liam says, sitting on the bed next to me, but still holding my hand.

I swallow.

My mind going back to the final moments in that cage.

They’re coming for me… Again. I hear my cage door open and Liam shouting.

I don’t focus on that though. My mind is reeling over the voice I hear down here that I should never have heard down here.

Heather.

Goddess, no. Why is she down here?

They pick me up and carry me down the hall. I’m too tired and wore out to look around them to see her, but I know she’s here.

She can’t be here.

They place me on the table. They don’t need to lock me down, I’m too weak to fight, and she can hold me down with a flick of her wrist.

She walks over to me, smiling like she’s won. She knows what my kids mean to me. She’s tried to get them before, because she knows they’re my weakness.

I love Liam with all my heart, but he can help himself. Heather can’t handle this. Can’t handle this torture. Not my sweet innocent Heather.

“Are you ready to give me what I want? Or do I need to prove to you I’ll do exactly what I’ve always told you I would if I got ahold of one of your children.” She sneers, looking back at the door like she can see Heather through it.

Maybe she can. I don’t know how far her powers go.

“Go to hell.” I snarl at her.

She smiles taking the knife from her pocket and sliding it easily across my stomach. I scream, and scream as she

continues to cut into me with the knife.

“Get her.” The witch sneers at one of the guards and he makes a move to go. “Stop.” I barely whisper. The witch raises her hand to stop him.

Her evil smile sends chills up my spine. “Yes?” She asks me. I close my eyes. “Do it.” I whisper, and her smile reaches her fucking eyes. “You know what I need.” She tells me. I nod.

I finally let the anger build in my chest. The anger from the torture, from what they did to us before we came here, from what she did to John, from making me watch her torture my mate and Julia. Everything builds and builds until I’m seeing red.

I glare at her, not able to move as she holds me down.

She knows I’ll fight now. My brain is spinning, and a growl leaves my chest as I pull at the invisible chains holding me in place.

Her creepy smile just widens as she places her hand on my stomach and starts whispering words into the air.

My anger leaves for a moment as fear overtakes me. She looks at me, “This will be fun.” She whispers just as a shot of pain ricochets through every nerve in my body. The lights flicker and my body goes limp, until all I see is black.
