Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 296

Chapter 296

I walk Amy back to the pack house, going through the tunnels in hopes no one will see her. It’s already going to be hell to have to deal with anyone who might have seen her on her way to Hazel and Cole’s house.

As I walk closer to her cell, I see Dallas already standing there waiting. “I’m sorry, Alpha. I wasn’t aware she could use her powers.” He tells me and I nod, “Did you get it?” I ask him, and he nods.

“You don’t think she needs some special one, specifically for her?” He asks, and I look at him and shrug. “I have no fucking idea Dallas. Have you ever dealt with this before?” I ask him snidely. Getting annoyed.

I’m not mad he let her get out, I doubt he had much choice. I’m just tired and would really like to cuddle up next to my mate and sleep for a week.

I look down at Amy, when Dallas makes his hurt puppy face. I’m being a dick, and I have no right to be. “Sorry.” I whisper, before looking at Amy’s cell.

It’s done up pretty nicely, as nice as a cell could look at least. The bars already fixed from her escape. Then I nod at Dallas to give him permission to place the cuff on her.

He does swiftly and gently, making sure he doesn’t pinch her skin. I start to walk through the cell door but am stopped swiftly by whatever spell Hazel had put on it to keep me out.

I groan frustrated and look down into my angel’s face again. Leaning over and kissing her forehead before handing her over to Dallas.

He has to pull her from my arms, from my inability to let go of her. Amy was right, seeing her just makes this

worse.

I go to grab for her, but Dallas is already through the door.

He places her down on the bed and covers her with the blankets, then turns to look at me. “How bad is it? How’s Hazel?” He asks, and I throw my hand over my face and slide it down, because I have no idea. I haven’t even asked.

“She’ll be fine. She’s stronger than half the wolves in the pack.” Walker answers for me, and Dallas nods. “And Mia? She was a little shaken up too.” Dallas says, and my eyes widen as I look at Walker. “What happened to Mia?” He shakes his head. “The witch threw her into a wall. She’s fine. She’s at the hospital visiting with Hazel.” He answers and I nod, closing my eyes and tilting my head towards the ground.

We’ll figure this out. We will… We have too.
