Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 302

Chapter 302

The family dinner was better than I thought it was going to be. It was also helped my mood a lot. Seeing everyone together, even with the little fight between Hazel and Griffon, I would still say it was a pretty good time.

To laugh and be next to Liam again, was magical.

‘Your stupid wolf bit me. She’s lucky I didn’t take her from this world early.’ The witch that’s been silent for almost a week speaks into my mind and I let out a deep sigh.

I knew she wasn’t gone, but it was easier to pretend she was when she was silent. ‘Don’t touch Leah.’ I growl at her, and she chuckles, ‘Your mutt was the one who touched me.’ She says, and I roll my eyes.

“Tell her to stay out of my home and I wouldn’t be able to bite her.’ Leah hisses into my mind and it’s like I have two children in my head arguing.

I pause, ‘She was in the sanctuary?’ I ask Leah and Leah huffs. ‘Yes.’

‘How were you in the sanctuary?’ I ask the witch, and she chuckles. ‘I may not be able to possess you right away, but it’s not like I was sleeping. I went exploring.’ The witch tells me, and I literally want to scratch my brains out just thinking that she’s moving around inside my skull.

‘Stay away from Leah.’ I tell her again, but she just chuckles again. ‘I don’t know what to tell you. I like it in here. It’s so pretty.’ She tells me, and I close my eyes, hoping to disappear, but instead my mind takes me to the sanctuary.

I look around, seeing Leah, her fur standing up on her back and she’s bent down like she’s ready to pounce. A low growl leaving her, a warning, but the look on her face is anything but. She’s fully planning on trying to kill the witch.

I turn, coming face to face with the witch.

She smiles at me, it’s almost a sweet smile, like she’s actually happy to see me, but I know better. She’s planning something.

“Nice of you to join us.” She tells me, and I take a step back to be next to Leah. The witch’s smile turns into a smirk. “Haven’t you figured it out by now? I can’t kill you yet, Amy.” She tells me, and I take a deep breath.

I never went back and thanked her. I never spoke to her again after she helped me, regardless of how many times I thought about it and now… She’s dead… Because of me.

She smirks, “She helped the enemy. Though I guess I should have thanked her… If she would have let the moon man kill you none of this would have been possible.” She shrugs and turns away towards the hills of flowers.

“She cared for you. Did you know that? Wouldn’t tell me anything.” She finishes and I look down at Leah. She was locked up when I met Jessica, but she still remembers her. A whimper leaves her and her sad eyes look up into mine.

My eyes harden as I look back at the witch, “I loved Jessica, and while I’ll forever be thankful for her. Her death is not on my conscious. It’s on yours. You killed your sister and took that from yourself.” I tell her and she swings around her eyes glaring into mine.

“We’re done here.” She waves her hand, and I wake up looking at the ceiling of my cell.

Breathing quickly, I sit up and look over at Dallas, his eyes wide with concern. “I need you to listen to me.” I rush, scared she’ll try and keep me from telling him what I learned.
