Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 311

Chapter 311

The only thing I see is a bunch of Alphas arguing with each other, with Liam, with Griffon, once I get there. Shouting over one another. All thinking they know what’s best.

But that’s the thing isn’t it… As far as we know this is new territory for everyone. For everyone except for us… We’ve been through something similar to this. And won. I won’t stand by and let them take the opportunity away from us.

Griffon told me that his mom wants this, but I feel like this is just a step towards my vision, and I promised myself to put a stop to that.

I look into the room, all the Alphas… It’s highly likely that they won’t give a damn about anything I say, even if I were mated to Griffon, he’s not their favorite person.

But this arguing is getting them no where. And it will continue to go nowhere until someone takes charge of the situation. Fuck. I don’t want to do this.

I walk in the room, and their all so busy yelling at each other that the only one that notices me is Griffon. His confused eyes look over me, and I shrug. Pretty much telling him, I have no idea what I’m doing.

He shakes his head and walks closer to me, ignoring the guys shouting at him. “I don’t know if this room is the safest place for you right now.” He whispers, grabbing my arm and pulling me to the corner.

I smirk, “Griffy, when are you going to learn that I’m not someone you need to protect. I’m a pretty capable person.” I tell him and he rolls his eyes. “Maybe, but it doesn’t mean I’ll stop.” He growls, and something about the way he says it makes my insides happy.

It’s ridiculous to feel that way, but it’s not something I can help. It’s not even like it’s new. He protected me when we were younger too.

I place my hand on his arm, “I’ll be fine.” I tell him and he grunts, knowing he has no choice in the matter. I grab the nearest chair and stand on top of it, and I swear the Alphas in here are still taller then me. It’s ridiculous.

I smile when I see they’re on our side, and clearly filled in on the problem. My smile finds my mom who’s looking at me proudly. She mouths ‘Good job’ then looks back at the group of Alphas.

“We may have had our problems, but this is still an alliance. One that before our fall we always honored asking nothing in return. We may not know exactly how to fix the problem, but I guarantee killing our Luna and respectively our Alpha will not solve it. And honestly, your help would be appreciated, but it’s not even what we’re asking for. We’re only asking for time… Time to fix this. Time to fix this problem that was never ours to begin with. This was a war that started centuries ago, and Amy is being forced to fight in it. She shouldn’t have to bare all the consequences.” My mom says, and the room goes silent again.

Five minutes… Ten… “How long?” Charles asks, his eyes on Liam, but glancing towards his mate.

Liam looks at the group. “The red moon. If we haven’t figured anything out by then… Amy and I will take care of the problem ourselves.”
