Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 95

Chapter 95

I walk out of the bathroom and both Dallas and Liam are waiting for me. I roll my eyes trying to play it off like usual, “Seriously?” They both smirk, they know how overprotective they can be. Granted right now, I guess it’s just protective.

We go back to the movie room, and I look up slightly searching for the area the picture came from. There’s a small window in the corner of the room, that I hadn’t seen before. I see a little curtain on the side, it’s probably a black out curtain. That windows probably usually closed. We all sit down, and it’s back to normal. Though I feel anything but normal right now. I need a plan. I won’t make it out of here easily.

Later that night, I wait until everybody is sleeping to make my move. I place my scent around Liam again, and he grabs on to it like his life depends on it. I stand by the bed and look at his sleeping face. I hate myself for this. I hate that I have to leave, I know how upset he’ll be, but him being upset is better than him being dead. With that in mind I take my eyes off him and make my way to the door. I see a hoodie he has on the dresser and grab it throwing it on, and quietly open the door.

I grab Liam’s keys next to the door, and quietly open it and walk out. I see the guards walking around the side of the house, so I run behind the bush next to the door. I wait there until they round the corner of the other side of the house, and run to Liam’s car.

I jump inside and lock the doors. Once I turn on this car, I can’t slow down. I turn the key and instantly throw the car in reverse, racing out of the driveway and then throwing it in drive. I look in the rear-view mirror and see the guards chasing after me. They shift into their wolves hoping to keep up with me, but it’s no use, Liam’s car is made for speed. As I make my turns on my way out, I’m finally in view of the front gate.

I see the guards already standing at the ready, they’ve already been alerted. If I’m going to make it out, I can’t slow down. I push the pedal to the floor, praying they move out of the way.

At the last second the guards move, knowing I’m not planning on slowing down. The car rams into the gate and the gate goes flying over the car and I just keep driving. I can’t slow down. I see them racing to their cars that are next to the entrance and start their pursuit.

I race through the streets leading away from the pack for what feels like forever. Not until I’m positive I lost them do I slow the car. I drive a little longer until I find a parking lot, outside of an old grocery store. I put the car in park and finally feel like I can breathe. Okay, I’m out. What now?

I look around the car and find a piece of paper and pen and write a quick note to Liam. Then I get out of the car and start walking. I’ll figure something out. I can’t stay here for long; I have to keep moving
