My phones in my pocket, that came from somewhere in my destruction. I instantly start throwing things around searching for the source of the sound. When I see her pink phone case, she left her phone! No wonder no one could get ahold of her. I grab for it and open it up. There’s a message from an unknown number.
*She’s mine now. You won’t find her, or her body. I suggest you move on. *- Unknown
I’m about to break the phone into pieces, before I see more messages before this last one. A message telling her to leave, and pictures proving he can get to all of us, without us even being aware of how close he is. This is why she left, she left feeling she had no other option. Her so called father left her no choices, threatening everyone she loves. And after losing her mom, there was no way she would have let that happen. He’s already proven we can’t stop him from entering pack lands, she wasn’t willing to take the risk.
I’m knelled on the floor, clutching the phone in my hand staring at it, when Dallas, walks into the room. He slowly walks over to me and bends down next to me. “We’ll find her man, we have to.” He says, trying to comfort me with a hand on my shoulder. I don’t say anything and just hand him the phone, he takes it from me slowly and starts going through the messages. His eyes go wide with realization, and he rushes from the room.
I follow him as he goes to my dad’s office and heads for my dad’s computer. He starts typing some stuff into the computer, I have no idea what he’s doing. “What are you trying to do?” I ask, my gaze shifting between him and the computer. He glances up at me, while he continues typing things into the computer. “I’m seeing if I can find the location of the unknown number.” He quickly answers, my eyes widen as I grab a chair to watch him. ” Where did you learn all this?” I ask, because I had no idea he knew this stuff. He glances at me again and grimaces. “Well, after Amy got attacked at school last, I started learning this stuff in case it happened again.” He answers. All I know is I’m beyond glad to have him on Amy’s team.
He keeps typing for another ten minutes, then looks over at me worried. “What?” I ask, still staring at the screen trying to see what he’s seeing. “It says the phones here in our pack lands, about ten minutes from here.” He answers, then gives me the coordinates.
I send out the warriors and then head out myself, with everyone in tow. Dimitri walks out of the woods holding something as we run up. He hands my dad the phone and shakes his head. “She wasn’t there, it looks like someone dumped the phone, I think we really need to start taking the idea of a mole more seriously.” Dimitri says as I just look behind him into the woods.
Damn it, I was hoping we would at least find her father. I don’t know if we could kill him, but at least then I’d know for sure if he had her. I’m still not sure. The message he sent makes me think he does, but the note she left makes me think he doesn’t.
