Full Moon Curse (by Dream) novel Chapter 98

Chapter 98

I run as far as I can, for days. Sleeping only occasionally, when I can’t stay awake anymore. How is this my life now? My whole body feels like it’s on fire, my muscles aching, I could definitely use a shower. My legs and clothes covered in dirt. Liam’s scent envelopes me from Liam’s hoodie, but it is mixed with the dirt from ground from when I had to use it as a pillow. It makes me want to cry. I can’t wash it; I can’t lose what I have left of his

scent.

After what feels like forever, I finally come across a small town. I have no idea the name of the town, all I know is I need to find a hotel and something to eat. I find an old shabby hotel, on the outskirts and check in. I don’t have a lot of money, but enough to last a little while.

Once I get inside my room, it’s dimly lit, and the walls are beige. The thin red floral comforter laid out across the bed. I go to the sink in the corner and don’t even care at this point. I throw my head under it and turn the water on, drinking up as much of it as I can. Once I’m satisfied, I undress and throw myself into the shower. I can barely keep my eyes open with the promise of a bed just in the other room, so I make quick work of the shower. I walk out and throw myself on the bed only wrapped in the towel. I don’t have any other clothes then the ones I came in with. My mind shuts off instantly and all I see is blackness, finally.

I’m awoken awhile later, to a knock on the door. I’m instantly on alert, looking for any way out other than the main door. The only window is next to the door, if this is my father, I won’t be able to escape. I slowly make my way over to the window, finally telling myself if it were him, I doubt he’d be waiting patiently outside my door.

When I peek through the curtains there’s no one there. Weird. I take a closer look and see a bag in front of my door. I walk to the door and slowly open it. Bending down the bag has food, clothes and a couple bottles of water. I quickly the grab the bag and rush inside, closing and locking the door. At this point I’m so hungry I can barely see straight. This food could be poisoned, but I don’t care. I dig into the turkey sandwich and chips, grabbing a drink of water here and there. It’s so good, my body is thanking me.

I stare at the bag. Who left this for me? Does someone know I’m here? I grab the clothes out of the bag and a piece of paper falls to the bed. I grab it quickly, needing to know who left these things.

*Looked like you could use a few things. Go to Rocky Stone bar, she’ll help you. *

I stare at the note. How do they know I need help? Is this a trick?
