I snatched two leaves and flicked my wrists hard. The leaves sliced through the air like sharp blades, shooting straight toward the two foes.

They had no time to dodge. Painful wolf howls broke out before they collapsed to the ground.

One hunter reacted swiftly. He fully shifted into his wolf form, baring sharp fangs and lunging toward me.

I moved even faster. While sending the leaves flying, I sent Ivory darting forward to attack.

The hunter barely took a step when the snake sank its teeth into his neck. He winced sharply and withdrew his wolf power in weakness. I quickly called Ivory back to me.

The two hunters let out fierce howls and charged at me the moment I revealed myself.

I endured the sharp pain from my wounds and stepped back rapidly to create distance.

My movements remained nimble, yet the injured arm and the absence of Lyra’s strength stopped me from fighting at full capacity. Every swing of my arm brought a burning, unbearable ache.

The hunters noticed my weakened state and launched fiercer attacks.

One man pounced abruptly, slashing his claws straight at my stomach. I twisted aside narrowly, but the other foe circled around and sank his teeth into my knee.

I let out a muffled groan. My body lost balance and crashed heavily onto the ground. My forehead struck a rock, and blood trickled down my cheek. My vision blurred, but my mind stayed clear.

“Your life ends here!” one hunter sneered coldly, rushing over to bite me.

I gritted my teeth and jammed my knee hard into his torso. The man winced and loosened his grip. I rolled over instantly and drove my hidden weapon deep into his heart.

His eyes widened, then he slumped lifelessly to the ground.

The remaining hunter closed in right away, nearly snapping the hidden weapon ring. Before I could respond, his brutal claws tore across my abdomen. A bloody gash tore open my clothes instantly.
