Agatha nodded and studied my face closely. “That is a relief. You endured so much hardship this time. Rest well at home. I have arranged a nourishing daily routine just for you to help you regain strength.”

“Thank you, Grandma.” I accepted her kindness calmly.

I would have turned down such care in the past, keeping my distance from the family. Yet I stayed here to uncover the truth of my origins, and gaining their trust was essential.

Back in my room, I immediately called Vera. “Have the DNA test results come out yet?”

“No need,” I said as I stood up. “I will come collect them myself.”

Vera was already waiting for me. She hurried forward and handed over two official documents.

“Miss, here are the paternity test reports you requested.”

My fingers trembled slightly as I grasped the papers. I took a deep breath to steady myself and opened the report about Damon and Jenna first.
