Eloise introduced Joslyn and Juliette to each other.

Juliette sat down next to Eloise.

Joslyn kept looking at Juliette’s face, then asked, “Are you sick?”

Juliette said awkwardly, “No.”

“Really? Look how pale you are. Wait, what’s that on your neck? Did you break out in hives?” Joslyn asked.

Joslyn leaned in, reaching out to pull aside Juliette’s collar for a closer look.

Juliette quickly covered her neck, blocking Joslyn’s view. “Eloise, help me!”

Eloise was laughing so hard her shoulders were shaking.

Joslyn called out, “Eloise, come check her neck! It kinda looks like hives, but maybe not?”

Juliette barely resisted the urge to dropkick Joslyn across the room.

After laughing herself silly, Eloise finally stepped in to save Juliette, pulling Joslyn away from her.

Eloise feigned a scolding, “Joslyn, why are you so wild? If she doesn’t want you to look, just let it go.”

“Eloise, Juliette really does look sick. Her neck is all red and blotchy,” Joslyn insisted.

Eloise couldn’t help herself and leaned over Juliette, laughing uncontrollably.

Juliette was speechless.

She wished she hadn’t worn that low-cut sweater or skipped checking the mirror before leaving the house.

She grabbed her jacket, planning to zip it up and cover the evidence.

But Eloise fished a silk scarf out of her bag and tied it around Juliette’s neck, perfectly covering the red marks.

“Juliette, just how intense did things get last night?” Joslyn joked.

Juliette cleared her throat, feeling awkward. “I had no idea he had so much stamina and energy. He nearly wore me out in bed.”

“What do you mean, ‘died in bed’?” Joslyn echoed.

Joslyn scooted closer, eager to hear the gossip.

Eloise pushed her head away. “You wouldn’t understand.”

Joslyn pouted. “Seriously? Whispering secrets without me? That’s so unfair.”

Juliette teased, “Joslyn, you still don’t have a boyfriend, right?”

Joslyn shot back, “No way! I’ve had one, two, three, four, five… Five boyfriends!”

Juliette and Eloise exchanged a glance, both thinking, ‘Sure you did.’

Juliette smirked, “So, out of those five boyfriends, did you even get to hold hands with any of them?”

“I held hands with two,” Joslyn said,

“Did you ever kiss any of them?” Juliette teased.

Joslyn blushed and stayed silent.

Juliette smirked. “See? That’s why you don’t get it. This stuff’s not for kids.”

Joslyn’s eyes widened as realization hit her.

She exclaimed, “Oh! I figured it out!”

“Juliette, is that a hickey on your neck?” Joslyn blurted out.

Eloise leaned on Juliette, cracking up all over again.

“Joslyn, you’re hilarious!” Eloise laughed.

Juliette looked absolutely mortified.

The three guys on the other side couldn’t hear what they were saying, but every now and then, they’d catch Joslyn’s dramatic exclamations or Eloise’s laughter.

After that, Joslyn kept pestering Juliette, asking who her man was, how old he was, and how many times they’ d hooked up that night, which drove Juliette absolutely crazy.

Once Joslyn went to the bathroom, Juliette muttered, “Is Joslyn always this weird? She has zero concept of boundaries.”

Eloise took a sip of her juice and tossed a nut into her mouth.

“That’s just how she is. She nearly gave me a headache today, too,” Eloise said.

Juliette glanced over at Grayson. “So, did you and Mr. Pierce get together?”

“Nope,” Eloise replied.

“Come on, you two are always together. No one believes you’re not together,” Juliette teased.

“He’s like a piece of clingy band-aid. No matter what I do, I can’t get rid of him,” Eloise grumbled.

“If Grayson knew you called him that, he would be pissed off,” Juliette laughed.

Eloise just pursed her lips, not in the mood to talk about Grayson.

She switched gears. “My mom’s sick.”

Juliette looked taken aback. “What’s wrong with her?”

“Cancer. Early stage,” Eloise replied.

“Early stage? That’s actually pretty good. With a minimally invasive surgery and some extra care, she could easily live another twenty years. Did they ask you to go back and look after her?” Juliette asked.

“She’s in Ekloland now. My brother brought her over. She’s staying at Oniginia Hospital,” Eloise replied.

“Did Grayson set that up?” Juliette asked.

“Yeah. I checked several hospitals but couldn’t find a bed anywhere. Grayson managed to get her a bed at Oniginia Hospital,” Eloise said.

“It’s just a minor surgery. Coming all the way to Ekloland for that? That’s a lot of hassle,” Juliette said.

“My brother said the hospitals here are better,” Eloise replied.

Juliette sighed. “Seriously, don’t push yourself too hard. If you keep doing everything, you’ll just end up exhausted and unappreciated.”

Eloise nodded. “I’m not going to keep running over there. I hired a caregiver to look after her.”

“That’s the smartest move,” Juliette said.

After leaving the club, Colton dragged Juliette to his sports car.

Since he’d been drinking, Juliette took the wheel.

Joslyn grabbed Eloise just as she was about to get in the car. “Eloise, what’s up with Juliette and Colton?”

“What do you think?” Eloise replied with a sly grin.

Joslyn was speechless.

After staring blankly for a while, Joslyn finally blurted out, “Wait, so those red marks on Juliette’s neck… did Colton give her those?”

Eloise gave a subtle smile, keeping quiet.

Joslyn just stared, lost for words.

Grayson pushed her aside, freeing Eloise, and shot her a warning, “Go home early. Don’t hang around outside.”

Then he handed the car keys to Eloise. “Here, you drive. I’ve had a few drinks.”

Eloise had never driven a sports car before. Her eyes lit up as she grabbed the keys and jumped into the driver’

s seat.

Grayson got in right after her.

“You know how to drive this thing?” Grayson asked.

Eloise grinned, “If you’re scared, you can just get out.”

Grayson chuckled, “Hey, if dying together is what it takes, that’s happiness enough for me.”

Eloise pinched his arm. “Don’t jinx it! I’m not ready to die, and neither are you.”

Grayson took her hand and held it in his. “Alright, I won’t say it. I just want to grow old with you.”

Eloise shot him a glare, pulled her hand back, and slowly started the car.

The engine’s roar made Eloise’s heart skip a beat, but once they hit the road, she felt like the coolest person alive.

‘No wonder rich people love sports cars, she thought.

Rhys walked over and put his hand on Joslyn’s shoulder. “Joslyn, can you do me a favor?”

“What do you need?” Joslyn asked.

“I’ve had a few drinks. Can I catch a ride home with you?” Rhys asked.

“Sure, hop in,” Joslyn replied.

Joslyn didn’t even hesitate.

Rhys sprawled out in the back seat, burping as he half-opened his eyes and looked at Joslyn up front. “Joslyn, long time no see. You’ve really grown up and gotten prettier, too.”

Joslyn blushed. “Well, you know how it is. Girls really blossom as they grow up.”

Rhys laughed. “So, got yourself a boyfriend yet?”

“Rhys, are you trying to set yourself up with me?” Joslyn teased.

“In your dreams!” Rhys shot back.

“You’re not even my type. Eloise says you’re a total player,” Joslyn said.

Rhys sat up straight, looking shocked. “Eloise is talking trash about me behind my back? That’s so sneaky!”

“Is Eloise wrong about you?” Joslyn teased.

Rhys was speechless.

Okay, he had to admit that he was a bit of a player.

“Rhys, we’re at your place,” Joslyn said.

“Thanks,” Rhys replied.

Rhys opened the car door, but as he stepped out, he tripped and ended up face-first on the pavement.

Joslyn quickly jumped out to help him. “Never mind, let me help you inside.”

Joslyn helped Rhys inside, and once he was settled on the couch, he waved her off. “Thanks, you can head

back now,”

“Rhys, are you sure you’re alright? I’m gonna head out,” Joslyn said.

“I’m good, you can go,” Rhys replied.

Rhys leaned back on the couch and closed his eyes.

Rhys had servants at home to take care of him, so Joslyn hopped in her car and headed out.

Grayson tagged along with Eloise all the way home and made himself comfortable, refusing to leave no matter what.

Eloise just ignored him. When it was time to sleep, she locked her bedroom door and called it a night.

Grayson ended up crashing in Noah’s room.

The next morning, Eloise got a call from Bobby. As soon as she answered, he demanded, “Eloise, what are you thinking? Why did you send a caregiver over?”
