Chapter 111 Too Bad About Last Night
Eloise lifted her plate to hide her face. “It’s hot.”
“Is it?” Grayson drawled, stretching out the last word.
Eloise felt uneasy.
‘Damn, how am I thinking about those things while I’m eating?’ Eloise thought. Grayson reached over, took her plate, and set it back on the table. “Just eat.” As he spoke, he picked up a piece of braised meat and put it in her bowl. He’d just had one himself.
It was delicious.
‘Why can’t I ever make it taste like this?’ Eloise thought.
After dinner, Grayson went ahead and started washing the dishes.
Eloise picked up her clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.
As soon as she opened the door, Grayson moved in close, wrapped his arms around her waist, and rested his head in the crook of her neck. He blew warm breath against her skin. “Baby, you smell amazing!”
Eloise shoved him away, darted into the room, and slammed the door shut.
Grayson let out a couple of tsks.
‘Man, she really won’t let me have even a little fun,’ he thought.
Eloise stayed in her room after that, lying in bed and scrolling through her phone.
An hour later, she came out to get some water.
The living room was pitch black.
She figured Grayson had gone to Noah’s room to sleep, so she made her way to the kitchen in the dark, turned on the light, and poured herself a glass of water.
After finishing her water, she turned off the light and headed out.
She’d barely taken two steps when a large hand yanked her over, then cupped her waist and hoisted her up.
In the darkness, her senses were heightened, and that unmistakable scent, so familiar it went straight to her bones, washed over her.
“Grayson, let me go!” Eloise demanded.
“Baby, didn’t anyone ever tell you not to go out at night? That’s when the wolves come out,” Grayson murmured, his voice low and laced with danger.
Eloise was speechless.
His kisses rained down on her, relentless and all-consuming.
His touch set her ablaze, her face, her lips, her ears, her neck, each place burning hotter than the last.
Lost in a haze, she melted into the couch as Grayson followed, his weight settling over her.
In the pitch-black room, every sound seemed amplified.
Listening to those sultry sounds, Eloise felt like her heart was about to leap out of her chest.
She managed to grab Grayson’s hand, her big, watery eyes looking up at him pleadingly. “Grayson, stop,” she whispered.
Grayson propped himself up, his dark eyes locked onto her like a wolf stalking its prey, ready to devour her whole at any moment.
He swallowed, his fingers slowly rubbing london every movement.

Chapter 111 Too Bad About Last Night
Eloise knew he was barely holding himself back.
Don’t be fooled by how Grayson looks all buttoned-up and high-class in a suit. He might seem all prim and proper, but that’s just for show.
Five years ago, he was insatiable. He never let her go until she was left breathless and begging for mercy.
“Eloise, give it to me,” Grayson growled.
Grayson’s voice was so hoarse it barely sounded like him.
“Grayson…” Eloise whispered.
“I’m right here,” Grayson murmured.
Eloise was at a loss for words.
‘Ugh, that’s totally not what I meant!’ she grumbled inwardly.
Grayson leaned in closer.
This time, his kisses were fiercer than ever. Her lips stung, her tongue tingled, and every kiss he left on her was heavy and deep.
Eloise called out his name in soft, breathless whispers.
Each time, Grayson murmured back, “I’m here.”
Things were spiraling out of control.
Until a sudden ringtone snapped Eloise back to reality.
She stared up at Grayson, her mind still foggy.
Grayson leaned in for another kiss, but Eloise pushed him away. “Your phone’s ringing.”
“Forget it, just ignore it,” Grayson muttered.
“Keep going my foot!” Eloise shot back.
She shoved him away and bolted back to her room, slamming the door behind her.
Grayson gritted his teeth as he picked up the phone. “You’d better have a damn good reason for calling!” Rhys shrank back, sounding nervous. “Colton and I are at the bar. Want to come out for a drink?”
“Go drink yourself to death, damn it!” Grayson barked.
He slammed the phone down.
Rhys was speechless.
He turned to Colton and grumbled, “Grayson’s losing it again. He just went off on me for no reason.”
Colton patted his shoulder with a look of sympathy. “You probably interrupted him getting lucky.”
“Getting lucky? What could he possibly be doing?” Rhys scoffed.
Colton just gave him a knowing grin.
Rhys caught on right away.
He slapped Colton on the back. “You sneaky bastard! No wonder you made me call. You didn’t want to take the blame yourself, huh?”
Colton shifted the blame. “Hey, you were the one who said we should call Grayson.”
Rhys protested, “But I told you to make the call first!”
“Whoever came up with it has to call,” Colton retorted.
Rhys was about ready to explode.
He knew he’d have to lay low around Grayson for a while, or risk getting chewed out.

Chapter 111 Too Bad About Last Night
That night, Eloise dreamed about nothing but Grayson. The two of them were all over each other, hot and heavy, wild and thrilling, tangled up in ways that left her breathless.
When she woke up, she was totally frustrated.
It had been forever since she had a dream like that.
No doubt about it, she was left wanting more last night.
If that phone call hadn’t interrupted them, she probably would’ve just let things happen and totally hooked up with Grayson.
After that interruption, her head cleared and there was no way she could let things go any further.
She checked her phone. It was only six.
Grayson was probably still asleep.
She grabbed some clothes and clean underwear from the closet, cracked the door open, and peeked into the living room, sneaking around.
Not spotting Grayson anywhere, she finally relaxed and hurried off to the bathroom with her stuff.
The second she opened the bathroom door, Eloise let out a scream.
Grayson was just as embarrassed.
After some seriously X-rated dreams last night, he had to get up and deal with himself, planning to take a shower.
He’d only just taken off his clothes when Eloise barged right in.
His first instinct was to throw his hands over his privates.
“Why aren’t you wearing any clothes?” Eloise blurted out.
“I’m taking a shower, what do you expect me to wear?” Grayson shot back.
