Chapter 1161 Couldn’t Control Myself
Chapter 116 I Couldn’t Control Myself
Eloise’s voice was so hoarse, it sounded like a duck trying to quack.
Noah, being the innocent little guy he was, just thought his mom was sick.
Eloise snapped awake.
After five seconds of awkward silence, she followed Noah’s lead. “Yeah, I’ve caught a bit of a cold. I don’t want you to get it, so I won’t come pick you up today. Be good and stay at your great-grandma’s place, alright?”
Noah nodded obediently. “Okay, Mom. You should go see a doctor.”
“I know, sweetie. I’ll take good care of myself,” Eloise replied.
After hanging up, Eloise kept her eyes closed.
She wasn’t sleepy anymore, but she really didn’t want to face Grayson right now.
Last night had been wild, like a thunderstorm hitting a forest fire, totally out of control.
Just thinking about it made her legs go weak.
Big hands reached out from under the covers, locked around her waist, dragging her in until she crashed against his solid chest.
Fiery kisses rained down on her neck and back.
Eloise shivered.
“Grayson…” she murmured.
Her voice came out as that raspy, duck-like croak again, so awful it made her cringe even more.
Grayson let out a low chuckle.
Eloise wriggled free from Grayson’s arms and dashed into the bathroom, barefoot.
Staring at her wrecked reflection in the mirror, Eloise’s mouth twitched.
‘That bastard Grayson!’ Eloise cursed inwardly.
‘Ugh, look at all these hickeys and bite marks… I can barely stand to look at myself, Eloise thought, cringing.
She took a quick shower and wrapped herself in a towel before stepping out.
Just then, Grayson walked in, also wrapped in a towel, his hair still dripping wet. He must’ve showered in the guest bathroom.
Eloise shot him a quick glance, then went to the couch to grab her clothes from yesterday, planning to change in the bathroom.
Grayson walked over, took the clothes from her, and pulled her toward the walk-in closet.
It was like walking into a boutique, with racks of high-end women’s clothes, all still sporting their price tags.
Eloise had already seen these clothes last time.
Grayson grabbed a high-necked knit dress from the rack and thrust it into her hands. “White suits you.”
Eloise didn’t bother to act shy and took the dress, heading for the bathroom.
Grayson caught her arm. “Change here.”
With that, he stepped out.
Then she remembered her underwear was still out there, which was probably ruined. She couldn’t put it back
on now.
She could still hear that ripping sound from last night. Grayson must’ve torn it to shreds.
Eloise glanced around, then grabbed a matching set of underwear from the drawer.
Every move made her legs and waist ach

She grimaced as she changed, then walked out, still making faces from the pain.
Grayson was tidying up his clothes when he saw her. A smirk tugged at his lips. “You look gorgeous.”
Eloise spotted her bra in his hand, rushed over, and snatched it away. She turned her back to him and shoved it into the stack of clothes.
Grayson stared at the tips of her red ears, then bent down and gave her earlobe a playful bite.
A jolt of electricity shot through her whole body.
“Baby, you’re so sensitive.” Grayson’s deep laugh rumbled right next to her ear.
Eloise snapped back to her senses, shoved Grayson away, clapped her hands over each ear, and retreated to the end of the couch.
“Grayson, what are you, part dog? You just can’t stop biting! Look what you did to me!” she huffed.
She angrily rolled up her sleeve, revealing her pale, slender arm dotted with hickeys.
Grayson stared at her arm, his gaze growing more intense.
“Sorry, I lost control,” he murmured.
Eloise gave a little snort and turned away, ignoring him.
Grayson cleared his throat. “I had some food delivered downstairs. Come on, let’s head down and eat.”
Eloise stuffed her dirty clothes into her bag, grabbed her coat, and headed downstairs.
The villa was warm, not a hint of chill.
They ate in silence.
Grayson wanted to say something, but Eloise gave him the cold shoulder.
Grayson knew last night had been wild.
He didn’t dare push his luck.
After they finished eating, Grayson said, “Want me to get someone to help you move?”
Eloise slung her bag over her shoulder and headed for the door. “Nope.”
Grayson threw on his coat, grabbed his car keys, and chased after her, catching her arm. “Let me drive you.”
Eloise’s legs and feet were killing her. She didn’t want to move another step. This was a gated community, and she’d have to walk all the way to the entrance just to get a cab.
She didn’t bother to fight it and just slipped into the car, too tired to argue.
On the drive over, Grayson kept stealing glances at her, careful not to get caught.
Eloise turned her head and stared out the window, completely ignoring him.
They finally pulled up to Maple Apartments.
Eloise reached for the car door, but it wouldn’t open.
She turned to Grayson, who reached for her hand with a pleading look. “Come on, don’t be mad. I swear, I’ll take it easy on you next time.”
Eloise gave him an icy glare. “There is no next time.”
“Don’t say that. We just click so well,” Grayson coaxed.
“Click with you? I was miserable the whole time,” Eloise retorted.
“I’ll be gentle next time, promise I’ll make you feel amazing,” Grayson said.
Eloise pressed her fingers to her temples.
‘Am I nuts? Why am I even having this kind of conversation with Grayson?’ she thought, exasperated.
‘I’m totally losing it!’ Eloise scolded herself.
“Unlock the door,” Eloise said.

Grayson unlocked the door, and Eloise got out without even glancing back.
Grayson didn’t follow her.
He had some things to take care of.
Eloise got home, totally wiped out. She kicked off her coat, crawled into bed, pulled the covers over herself, and closed her eyes. In no time, she was out cold, sleeping like the dead.

Grayson called Finn. “Find out where Tessa is.”
After hanging up, he headed back to his villa on Vernal Road.
Finn called back. “Mr. Pierce, Tessa’s on a flight to Musmyland, the one that left last night.”
Grayson narrowed his eyes. “She sure didn’t waste any time.”
Finn had no idea what happened at the Nord Hotel last night, but after years working with Grayson, he could sense every shift in his boss’s mood.
‘Tessa must’ve seriously pissed off Mr. Pierce, Finn thought, feeling the tension in the air.
“Mr. Pierce, want me to get someone to drag her back?” Finn offered.
Grayson toyed with his metal lighter, saying nothing.
Finn waited in silence.
After a few seconds, Grayson said, “Forget it. Leave her for now. Have Cyrus come see me at VirtuFusion Group in a bit.”
“Got it, Mr. Pierce. Oh, and there’s one more thing,” Finn added.
“Go ahead,” Grayson said.
