Chapter 125 Stay in the Mental Hospital
Eloise slammed her bowl down on the table. “Who said I wanted you to do that? Psycho!”
Grayson chuckled. “Okay, I just wanted to make you happy.”
Eloise couldn’t be bothered with him and went to the kitchen to grab a fork.
Grayson smirked and headed upstairs.
By the time Grayson came downstairs, Eloise had already started eating without waiting for him.
Grayson took a seat across from her, and just seeing the simple breakfast on the table made his appetite kick
After breakfast, Grayson stubbornly stayed home, refusing to leave.
Eloise changed clothes, came downstairs, grabbed her car keys, and headed out.
Grayson shot up from the couch and hurried after her. “Where are you going?”
Eloise replied, “I’m going to pick up Noah.”
“Why bother? Wouldn’t it be nicer if it was just the two of us?” Grayson said.
Eloise shot him a look. “Aren’t you his dad? All you care about is your own selfish desires.”
Grayson didn’t feel like he was an unfit father at all.
Eloise ignored him and got in the car.
Grayson was about to follow her when his phone rang.
He picked up, and after hearing what the caller said, he had to let go of following Eloise.
Finn followed Grayson into the office.
Once Grayson sat down, Finn said, “Mr. Pierce, the police called. They said Camille has been diagnosed with a mental illness.”
Grayson’s face darkened. “What did the police say?”
Finn replied, “They said she won’t be charged.”
Grayson was silent for a moment. “Then let her stay in the mental hospital. Tell the staff to make sure she gets proper treatment.”
Finn instantly got the message, spared Camille a quick three seconds of sympathy, then turned and walked
out.
Camille would rather stay in a mental hospital than end up in prison.
Back when she was abroad, she already knew something was off with her mentally, but she never dared to get a diagnosis. She just did some online research.
That was why she had the nerve to try to kill Eloise.
She knew she had a backup plan.
She really regretted not finishing Eloise off.
But Camille had no clue that getting locked up in the mental hospital was just the start of her nightmare.
Eloise went to Maple Apartments first to settle things with the landlord, and only after that did she head to Pierce Manor to pick up Noah.
When she came out carrying a suitcase, she saw Hannah directing the servants to load a box into the car.
She paused for a moment and asked, “Gr
eng thing?” Successfully unlocked!

Chapter 125 Stay in the Mental Hospital
Hannah turned to her with a smile. “The house on Clidale Road is spacious. I’m moving in with you guys.”
Eloise was speechless.
In the end, she couldn’t bring herself to say no, so she just took Noah and Hannah back to Clidale Road.
Once they got back, Eloise personally made Hannah’s bed, tidied up the room, and hung up her clothes.
Since Hannah was getting on in years and it was hard for her to go up and down the stairs, she moved into a room on the first floor.
Hannah was absolutely thrilled.
But she didn’t want her granddaughter–in–law to wear herself out.
She said, “We should have Grayson hire a few housekeepers.”
Eloise waved her hand. “No need, Grandma. I’m not working right now, so I can take care of things myself. I just don’t like having strangers in the house.”
After the whole nanny thing with Noah, it left her with bad memories. She really didn’t want to hire any more help.
Hannah didn’t know about any of that, but she respected Eloise’s wishes. “Alright, it’s actually more comfortable with just family around.”
Eloise had her own way of doing things, so just agreeing to move in was already a big deal. Everything else could wait. She’d get used to it in time.
When Grayson walked in, he saw Hannah and Noah in the living room. Hannah was glued to a cheesy soap opera, while Noah was totally absorbed in his tablet game.
Noah glanced up, called out, “Dad,” then buried his head right back in his game.
Hannah tossed the TV remote aside, gave Grayson a conspiratorial look, and dragged him into her bedroom. ” So, are things heating up between you and Eloise?”
Grayson said, “Getting there.”
Hannah smacked him on the arm. “Pathetic!”
Grayson was speechless.
Getting roasted by his grandma, he could only keep quiet.
He glanced around the spotless room. “What’s going on here?”
Hannah said proudly, “Eloise invited me to move in, and she even set up my room herself. She’s so thoughtful.”
Grayson gave a wry smile. “She really invited you?”
“Of course it’s true!” Hannah insisted.
She slipped out of the room, looking a bit sheepish.
Grayson could only shake his head in resignation.
The alone time he’d been dreaming of with Eloise felt like it was drifting further and further out of reach.
When he reached the kitchen doorway, he saw Eloise in an apron, working the stove with practiced ease. He shrugged off his suit jacket, rolled up his sleeves, and stepped inside. “I’ll help you out.”
Eloise shot him a look and directed, “Go wash the veggies in the sink.”
“Alright,” Grayson said, a little resigned.
Grayson wasn’t much of a chef, but he could manage washing and chopping just fine.
Hannah sat on the couch, watching the two figures in the kitchen, and felt the whole scene was just so warm and harmonious.
The first time Hannah tasted Eloise’s cooking, it was so delicious she could’ve cried.

Chapter 125 Stay in the Mental Hospital
“Eloise, you’re incredible! Your cooking puts someone else’s to shame,” Hannah teased.
Eloise burst out laughing. “Grandma, you’re so hip! You even know how to say that!”
Hannah lifted her chin proudly. “Of course! I want to fit right in with you young people.”
Grayson, whose cooking skills had just been roasted, grabbed her bowl. “You’ve had plenty tonight. That’s enough for you.”
Hannah glared at him, huffing. “I’m not even full yet!”
