Eloise yelled, “Grayson, are you out of your mind?”

Grayson took her phone and went to the bathroom.

Eloise was speechless.

She thought, I’m furious. What the hell is this lunatic doing now?’

Eloise crawled over to grab her phone, but before she could even touch it, Grayson pinned her down on the bed.

Grayson loomed over her and asked, “Who do you love most?”

Eloise rolled her eyes, saying, “Obviously, Noah!”

Grayson pouted, “What about me?”

“You? What do you mean?” Eloise asked.

“Where am I in your heart?” Grayson pressed, his voice dropping.

Eloise shot back, “You don’t even exist in my heart.”

Grayson asked in a sharp tone, “Say it again.”

“You…” Eloise barely got the word out before Grayson claimed her lips in a fierce kiss.

He finally let her go, leaned back with smoldering eyes, and demanded, “Do I have a place in your heart or

not?”

“No!” Eloise shot back, defiant as ever.

“Still acting tough?” Grayson smirked.

He lowered his head and bit her lips again, teasing her with practiced skill.

Not long after, Eloise completely surrendered to him.

Grayson’s voice was low and rough as he asked, “Is there a place for me?”

Eloise answered weakly, “There is.”

Grayson pressed, “Number what?”

“Second,” Eloise muttered, barely above a whisper.

Grayson shot back, “No way! That’s not good enough for me.”

Eloise was speechless.

“I want to be number one,” Grayson demanded, his tone possessive and stubborn.

“You’re so shameless,” Eloise said weakly.

Eloise woke up and didn’t find Grayson beside her.

She winced, her back aching as she climbed out of bed. After throwing on some clothes, she yanked open the curtains. The sun was already blazing outside.

She checked the time. It was already noon in Franster.

Thinking of last night’s craziness, Eloise’s cheeks burned red. She rushed to the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face.

She thought, I’d hooked up with Grayson again.

‘Did I have any regrets?

‘Not even a little.’

Honestly, she actually enjoyed herself last night.

Eloise finally understood Juliette. If you just stopped overthinking and focused on the physical. Grayson really was a pretty good partner.

If only he didn’t go at it so often, it would be perfect.

By the time Eloise finished getting ready, Grayson came back and smiled, saying, “Get dressed. Let’s go eat.”

Eloise’s face was red as she grabbed her clothes and headed for the bathroom, not even glancing at Grayson.

She wondered, ‘Is he bragging about me or just himself?

‘What a shameless bastard!’

Eloise enjoyed it, saying, “This is so good!”

Grayson grabbed a napkin and wiped the sauce from the corner of her mouth. “Slow down,” he said.

Eloise was totally scarfing down her food. She was starving.

Eloise said with excitement, “Grayson, can I get another one of these pan-seared foie gras?”

Grayson gave her an indulgent smile and waved the waiter over. He ordered another foie gras and an order of

escargots.

Finally, Eloise’s belly was totally stuffed.

“Grayson, I can’t move anymore. I’m so full. Help me out here,” Eloise groaned, clutching her stomach.

Grayson chuckled as he helped her out of the restaurant, saying, “Next time, don’t eat so much. It’s not good for you.”

Eloise grumbled, “Well, you’re the one who kept ordering more. I couldn’t let it go to waste.”

Grayson laughed, saying, “You were the one who told me to order more.”

Eloise shot back, “I didn’t know my limit, but you should’ve known!”

Hearing this, Grayson was speechless.

He thought, ‘She is impossible to reason with sometimes.

He sighed and gave up. “Well, I won’t argue with you.”

Eloise lifted her chin, looking smug. “You just can’t win against me,” she said.

Grayson grinned and said, “Go ahead, enjoy winning the argument for now. But you know I’m always the boss

in bed.”

Hearing this, Lorelei was very furious.

She thought, ‘She couldn’t even bother to show up when I was discharged, just sent some random guy instead. All those years raising her were for nothing. Bobby’s the only one I can count on.’

Grayson got a message from Finn and looked up at Eloise, saying, “Your mom’s back in Ucrevine safe and sound.”

Eloise nodded and said, “How much were the medical and care expenses? Let me pay you

back.”

Grayson knew that Eloise was pretty stubborn when it came to money, so he just gave her the exact amount.

Eloise sent him the money on the spot.

With the nurse fees included, the total came to 17,000 dollars.

Eloise knew Bobby had already put down a 17,000 dollars deposit at the hospital.

Since it balanced out, she didn’t bother texting Bobby about it.
