Chapter 70 Tell Me Your Secret Yourself
Grayson sat in the dining room for a while, not in the mood to eat. Then he drove to Maple Apartments.
When Hannah got back to Pierce Manor, Leo was already home.
“What’s that you’re holding, Mom?” Leo asked.
Hannah slipped the photo into her pocket. “It’s nothing.” She went straight to her room after that.
Leo muttered to himself, ‘What’s she hiding? Why’s she acting all mysterious?’
Hannah tucked away the photo of her great-grandson, then came out for dinner.
Leo glanced at his mom, who had barely touched her food. “Mom, what’s wrong? Not feeling hungry?” he asked.
Hannah put down her fork. “You go ahead. I’m not hungry.”
After finding out she had a four-year-old great-grandson, Hannah was so happy and excited she could hardly sit still.
But thinking about all the struggles her great-grandson and Eloise had faced these past years, and how she still couldn’t reveal herself to him, Hannah’s heart was so heavy she lost her appetite.
Leo put down his fork, worry written all over his face. “Mom, if you’re not feeling well, let me know. I’ll take you to the doctor.”
Hannah shot him a look and waved her hand. “I’m really fine. You go ahead and eat. I’m going back to my
room.”
Leo could tell something was off, but since his mom insisted she was fine, he decided to let it go for now. After grabbing a bite together at the mall, Eloise and Noah spotted a boxing gym. When Noah mentioned he wanted to try it, Eloise immediately signed him up for a trial class.
By the end, the little guy was sweating buckets.
As they walked out of the elevator, they spotted Grayson waiting by their door. He was slouched casually against the wall, looking both laid-back and classy.
As soon as he heard the elevator ding, he turned his head. His eyes zeroed i he asked.
Eloise replied quietly, “I took Noah out for dinner.” Saying that, she headed over to open the door.
Noah rushed inside to shower first.
Grayson came in and hugged Eloise from behind.
Eloise froze, hissing under her breath, “Grayson, let go of me.”
“Eloise, I haven’t had anything to eat yet,” Grayson said, sounding a little needy.
Eloise couldn’t stand how easily she caved in every time. As soon as Grayson mentioned he was hungry, she found herself rushing into the kitchen to whip up some pasta for him, even frying two eggs on the side.
She brought out a plate of tomato pasta, the delicious smell wafting through the air.
Grayson’s appetite came back in full force. He was used to gourmet meals, but Eloise’s pasta tasted like the best thing he’d had in ages. With each bite, a comforting warmth spread through him.
Once Eloise finished making the pasta, she went into her room. She still had some work to finish, so she fired up her laptop and got to it.
After his shower, Noah plopped down across from Grayson, propping his chin on his hand. “Smells good, huh?”
Grayson looked up. “Yeah, it does.”
Noah fixed Grayson with a serious look. “Aunt Eloise is really nice. Don’t make her sad, okay?”
Grayson paused for a moment, then ruffir Hom foEND

Chapter 70 Tell Me Your Secret Yourself
After finishing his pasta, Grayson washed his bowl himself.
Eloise hadn’t come out yet, so he went over and knocked on her door. “Eloise,” he called.
A few seconds later, Eloise opened the door, her face cold. “You’ve eaten, so just leave.”
But Grayson darted inside and closed the door behind him.
“Grayson, what do you think you’re doing?” Eloise cried out, her voice sharp with alarm.
“Keep it down, or Noah will hear. Don’t freak out, I’m not up to anything. Just wanted to see your room,” he said, trying to sound casual.
“Get out,” Eloise snapped. She shoved at him, trying to push him out. But no matter how hard she tried, Grayson didn’t budge an inch.
Instead, he hooked her with one arm and pulled her right into his embrace. His kisses came crashing down on
her.
They burned through Eloise’s nerves, making her forget to breathe, forget to resist, forget time itself.
Night after night, she’d lose herself in those dreams, wrapped up in his arms, unable to break free from the passion. But every morning, all she felt was a hollow, aching loneliness that never seemed to fade.
The tiny room, thick with tension, made her lose all sense of reason. Eloise was drowning in Grayson’s burning kisses, swept away and powerless to resist.
To Eloise, Grayson was like a drug. Once she got a taste, she was hooked for life. Her longing for him was overwhelming, impossible to hide.
She couldn’t handle his teasing; even the smallest touch made her melt.
“Eloise…” Grayson murmured, his voice low and husky.
That soft murmur snapped Eloise back to her senses. She awkwardly pushed Grayson away, feeling flustered. The room was silent, both of them breathing unsteadily. Grayson was still savoring the lingering sweetness of their kiss. He couldn’t get enough, teetering on the edge of losing control.
o me, please? We’re not
Eloise turned away, her voice barely above a whisper. “Grayson, can you no together anymore. This isn’t right. I don’t want things to be like this betwee There was a pleading note in Eloise’s voice. She was completely powerless against Grayson. There was just no way to resist him.
Suddenly, his burning-hot body pressed up against her from behind. Eloise trembled, and in an instant, she was pulled into his strong arms.
Grayson leaned in, resting his head gently on her shoulder.
“Eloise, can we get back together? I want us to be like we were before. want to kiss you, hold you, and get lost in you all over again,” Grayson whispered, his voice full of longing.
“Grayson, just stop,” Eloise said, her voice shaky, almost begging.
“I have to say it. If I don’t, how will you ever know?” Grayson pressed.
“I don’t want to know,” Eloise muttered, her voice small, desperate to shut him out.
“I need you to know,” Grayson said, his voice firm and unyielding.
“Grayson, you’re being shameless. Do you really think chasing me like this is fun?” Eloise shot back, her frustration obvious.
“Of course it’s fun. I got to kiss you tonight and you didn’t stop me. That’s a win for me,” Grayson replied, sounding almost smug.
Eloise couldn’t blame anyone but herself. She kept telling herself she needed to keep her distance from Grayson. But every time he got close, she just couldn’t resist him.
“Eloise, you have me in your heart. Stop fighting it,” Grayson said, his voice low and insistent.
