Chapter 75 You’re Something Else
Colton stared in shock, leaving Rhys behind as he cut through the crowd.
Rhys eagerly tagged along. ‘Oh man, this is gonna be good, he thought to himself.
With a sly look, Rhys whipped out his phone, snapped a shot of Eloise, and sent it off with a tap.
Juliette was having a blast chatting with a cute guy when someone suddenly grabbed her arm.
She turned around and, spotting Colton, exclaimed with a bright grin, “Hey, it’s you. What are the odds.”
Colton fixed her with a piercing stare. “What were you just doing?”
Juliette scratched her head and gave a cheeky laugh. “Just chatting with a cute guy, what else?”
Colton was about to lose it. After searching for her for so long, he finally finds Juliette, only to catch her chatting up some other guy.
But now wasn’t the time to make a scene, and this definitely wasn’t the place to talk. He took Juliette by the arm and led her outside.
Eloise cut him off. “Where do you think you’re taking her?”
Colton finally noticed Eloise. He’d only had eyes for Juliette at first, totally missing Eloise.
But Eloise knew exactly who he was, Grayson’s buddy from Pinecrest Club.
Colton blinked, realizing. “What are you doing here? Does Grayson know you’re here? You shouldn’t be hanging around places like this.”
Juliette gave Eloise a puzzled look. “Grayson?” she asked.
Colton realized it too. Juliette and Eloise were hanging out together, and they obviously knew each other.
Rhys walked over, threw an arm around Colton’s shoulder, and waved at Eloise and Juliette. “Hey, I’m Rhys, this is Colton. We’re Grayson’s friends.”
‘Wait, so the hottie I slept with is actually one of Grayson’s friends?’ Juliette thought,
found out his name, Colton.
On that trip, Juliette ran into Colton; after a few drinks, one thing led to another and they ended up in bed together.
Neither of them even asked for names. She actually liked it that way. Just a hookup, no strings, no regrets. She slipped out early the next morning while Colton was still out cold. She figured she’d never see him again, never expected to run into him here, of all places.
Colton brushed Rhys’s arm off. “Watch her for me, I’ve got something to take care of.”
Colton meant Eloise. Eloise was Grayson’s girl, no way he’d let anyone else make a move on her. With that, he dragged Juliette away.
Eloise picked up on the weird vibe between Colton and Juliette and decided not to get in the way.
Eloise headed over to a lounge seat and settled in.
Rhys grabbed a drink and plopped down next to her.
Eloise didn’t bother talking to Rhys. Last time at Pinecrest Club, he just spent the whole time making snide remarks at her. She honestly couldn’t be bothered to talk to him.
Eloise had a glass of lemon water in front of her, taking a sip every so often.
Rhys gave her a teasing look, swirling his drink. “You come to a bar and don’t drink? Why even bother showing up?”
Eloise shot him a glance. “I’ll drink whatever I feel like.”
“Eloise, you really got Grayson wrapped around your finger. That’s some next-level game,” Rhys said, his voice thick with sarcasm.

Chapter 75 You’re Something Else
Eloise knew this guy never liked her. She sneered. “If you can’t stand me, just keep your distance.”
‘She’s got quite a temper, huh, Rhys thought.
“If it weren’t for Grayson, you really think I’d bother babysitting you? Please, that’s hilarious,” Rhys shot back. Eloise picked up her lemon water and moved to another seat. She had zero interest in sitting anywhere near Rhys.
Rhys, annoyed, decided to just ignore her and almost immediately found himself wrapped up with a woman in a revealing dress.
Eloise had just sat down when a guy showed up, carrying two drinks. “Hey there, beautiful, lemon water’s no fun at all. How about I treat you to something stronger?” he said, flashing a cocky grin.
Eloise shot him a cold look. “Not interested. I don’t drink.”
“Come on, sweetheart, don’t play coy with me. Just have a drink. This stuff’s the real deal. One sip and you’ll be asking for seconds,” the guy said, laying it on thick.
Eloise’s patience was shot. She got up to leave, but the guy grabbed her arm. “Hey, don’t leave yet.”
“Let go,” Eloise hissed, her voice low and icy.
Not only did the guy refuse to let go, he leaned in, trying to plant a kiss on Eloise. She froze in fear.
With a bang, the guy was suddenly sent sprawling to the floor. People nearby started screaming.
Eloise gaped in shock. Grayson had just appeared, like a hero out of thin air. He looked furious, veins popping out on his arms.
Rhys had been getting cozy with that sexy woman, but when he heard the commotion, he came over. One look at Grayson and the guy sprawled out, and he instantly put two and two together.
He felt a bit sheepish. I should’ve kept an eye on Eloise, Rhys thought, feeling guilty. Grayson lifted his foot, ready to give the creep who’d been hitting on Eloise another ki dove under the table to get away.
Eloise quickly grabbed Grayson’s arm. “Let it go, it’s not worth it.” Her words managed to onto herself.
uy, terrified,
turn all his anger
Grayson roared at her, “Eloise, you dumped Noah on me just so you could mess around in a place like this? You’re unbelievable.”
Grayson’s face was livid with rage.
Eloise mumbled, her voice faltering with guilt. “It’s not.”
“Not what? If I hadn’t come over, you would’ve let that creep kiss you,” Grayson exploded.
“No way. Even if you hadn’t shown up, I would’ve shoved him away,” Eloise retorted.
The crowd around them was getting bigger and bigger, all eyes glued to the drama. Grayson grabbed Eloise and hauled her out of the bar.
Just as they reached the door, Eloise spotted Juliette and Colton locked in a passionate kiss around the corner. Her jaw dropped in shock.
Grayson saw it too, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. But he couldn’t care less about other people’s business.
He shoved Eloise into the car, and the Bentley roared off into the night.
Eloise glanced at Grayson, and he barked, “What are you staring at? Don’t get any ideas. I’m not gonna kiss you.”
‘Is he out of his mind? As if I’d ever want that, Eloise thought, rolling her eyes.
“Grayson, where’s Noah?” Eloise pressed, worry in her voice.
“Wow, you actually remember Noah? I was starting to think you’d forgotten you even had a kid at home,”

Grayson snapped, sarcasm heavy in his tone.
Eloise: ‘…’She steadied her breath and asked as calmly as she could, “Where did you leave Noah?”
