Chapter 76 Just Lips, Okay?
Grayson’s eyes were still smoldering with desire as he stared at Eloise’s shimmering eyes, his Adam’s apple moving up and down. “Eloise, can I kiss you one more time? I swear, no hands,” he murmured, voice low and teasing.
Eloise lifted her head, her eyes glaring at him. “Back off. Keep your hands to yourself.”
“Just lips, is that allowed?” Grayson joked, his eyes twinkling mischievously.
“No way,” Eloise shot back.
“So when will you let me?” he pressed, refusing to give up.
“Not now, not ever,” she replied, her voice unwavering.
“Eloise, are you trying to drive me insane here?” Grayson complained.
She was silent for a moment, then turned her head away, completely ignoring him. ‘This guy’s crazy, she thought to herself.
Grayson buckled his seatbelt, started the car, and headed back to Pierce Manor. Noah was still there. The commotion at the bar died down quickly, and the place was soon buzzing with energy again. Rhys didn’t see Colton come back, and when he tried calling him, Colton hung up on him. He was about to head out, but then a stunning woman latched onto him, leaving him no choice but to stay a little longer. Inside the sports car, Colton had Juliette pressed close, their breaths tangled in the tight space.
Colton asked in a low, rough voice, “What’s your name?”
“Juliette,” she said softly.
“Juliette,” Colton echoed, a slow, satisfied grin spreading across his lips.
Juliette kissed his neck, her voice sultry. “Call me sweetheart.”
“Sweetheart,” Colton murmured, playing along.
Juliette absolutely loved the sound of his voice. It was just so damn sexy. When Colton called her “sweetheart” in that husky voice, her bones practically melted.
“You really like that?” Colton asked.
“Yeah, keep saying it,” Juliette purred.
“This place isn’t right. Let’s go somewhere else,” Colton murmured.
“Hotel?” Juliette teased, a sly grin on her lips. She was seriously craving that young stud again, so she went for it without hesitation.
“Nah, let’s hit up your place,” Colton said.
Juliette, half-dazed and barely thinking straight, agreed and rattled off her address.
Colton flashed a wicked grin and put a little space between himself and Juliette. “Hang in there, sweetheart. We’ll be home soon,” he teased.
He floored it, and the sports car shot forward with a roar.
It was Juliette’s first time in a sports car, and she couldn’t help but squeal in excitement.
Colton pulled up right outside Juliette’s place in the sports car.
Juliette grabbed his hand, dragged him into the elevator, and as soon as she hit her floor, she wrapped herself around him.
Colton was all for it, leaning down to kiss her. They made their way from the elevator to her front doo Juliette finally managing to free a hand to punch in the code.
With a ding, the door swung open.

Colton hoisted Juliette up, spun her around, and kicked the door shut as they entered.
Juliette was pinned against the door. In the darkness, Juliette let out a low, throaty laugh.
Colton pulled back a little. ‘What’s so funny?”
“Just happy, Juliette said simply. She hooked her arms around his neck, her smile wicked as she nipped playfully at his neck.
Colton let out a sharp hiss. ‘Hell yeah, that’s good, he thought.
He asked in a husky voice, “Are you happy to see me, or do you just want to sleep with me?”
Juliette grinned, “Both. You really make me crave you.”
“If I’m so good for you, why’d you sneak off on me?’ Colton teased.
“Girls have to play coy, you know,” Juliette said, batting her lashes.
Colton wasn’t buying her act for a second. ‘She just doesn’t want to get tangled up with me again, he thought.
But one thing was for sure. Juliette just couldn’t get enough of him physically. He didn’t even have to try, and Juliette was already throwing herself at him.
After a few more times in bed, you won’t be shy around me anymore, Colton teased.
‘Damn, he really knows what he’s doing, Juliette thought.
She pressed herself up against him, grinning. “Enough with the talking. Let’s get to the real action.”
Colton’s eyes went dark, and he was all wild energy, practically ripping Juliette’s clothes off like a leopard about to pounce.
Juliette was totally into his rough side. Not to be outdone, she went at Colton’s clothes with even more force.
Eloise noticed Grayson was heading toward the old part of town and turned to him. “Did you take Noah back to Pierce Manor?”
Grayson nodded. “Yeah, Noah’s with my grandma. She’s absolutely crazy about him, sp most precious thing ever. I’m totally out of the picture now.”

Before she could even process what he’d just said, the car pulled up to Pierce Manor.
Eloise got out of the car, and Noah darted over, grabbing her hand tight. “Aunt Eloise.”
Eloise smiled and asked, “Did you have fun with Mrs. Pierce?”
“Yeah, I had fun. Mrs. Pierce’s really nice,” Noah replied.
Eloise saw Hannah corning out behind them, and she couldn’t help but feel a bit awkward. After all, Hannah already knew Noah was Grayson’s kid, but Eloise was still keeping quiet about it.
She just couldn’t wrap her head around why Hannah was still keeping Noah’s real identity from Grayson.
Hannah came over with a bearning smile, grabbing Eloise’s hand. “My dear, you’re finally here.”
Eloise called out softly, “Mrs. Pierce.”
“Hey there,” Hannah replied. She almost couldn’t hold back her emotions. Just thinking about how Eloise had raised Noah all on her own all these years, she could totally picture how tough it must’ve been.
‘God, it must’ve been hell for her. It’s all Grayson’s fault. Honestly, Eloise has every right not to forgive him. It’s just so damn frustrating, Hannah fumed inwardly.
If Grayson hadn’t kept his identity hidden, Eloise and Noah wouldn’t have had to suffer so much.
“Thanks for taking care of Noah. I’ll take him home now,” Eloise said.
Hannah looked at Noah, reluctant to let him go. “Eloise, I really adore Noah. Bring him over whenever ou can,” Hannah said warmly.
“Sure,” Eloise replied.

Thinking about Noah’s late pick-up at preschool, Hannah suggested warmly, “Eloise, you’re always so busy with work. Why don’t I pick Noah up for you? I’ve got plenty of time on my hands anyway.”
She really didn’t want Noah left at preschool for hours.
Eloise wasn’t against the idea. “Pierce Manor is pretty far from the preschool. It’s not really convenient for you,” she replied.
She was worried something might happen to Hannah with all that back and forth.
Hannah smiled gently. “It’s really no trouble. I have a driver and a bodyguard. Let me take care of it for you.”
Hannah looked a bit embarrassed, feeling a little guilty about her earlier fib. She’d even told Eloise she’d gone out by herself before, and now she felt bad about it.
Eloise didn’t mind at all and just smiled. “Alright, I really appreciate it. I’ll tell his teacher, and after you pick Noah up, you can just drop him off at our place.
“It’s just in the complex next to the preschool. Oh, and Noah doesn’t go to preschool on Mondays or Tuesdays, so you don’t need to come those days.”
Hannah asked, “Who looks after Noah when he doesn’t go to preschool?”
“He’s home alone,” Eloise replied.
“But he’s still so little,” Hannah exclaimed, clearly worried.
Eloise blushed, afraid Hannah would think she was a bad mom. “Noah’s super good, he can totally handle himself at home,” she said, trying to reassure her.
Hannah didn’t blame Eloise at all. She knew all too well how tough it was to balance work and raising a kid.
“Tell you what, on Mondays and Tuesdays, I’ll come pick Noah up and bring him over to Pierce Manor. When you’re done with work, I’ll drop him back home,” Hannah offered warmly.
Eloise glanced at Noah to see what he thought.
Noah gave a small nod. “I can go to Pierce Manor.”
Since Noah was willing, Eloise agreed. “I’ll be counting on you from now on,” she said.
“It’s no trouble at all. I’m just happy to help,” Hannah replied with a warm smile.
Grayson chimed in, “Grandma, you’re the best, beautiful inside and out, and always so caring.”
Hannah rolled her eyes at him. “Hmph. If it weren’t for you, I…” she huffed, trailing off.
If Grayson could just get Eloise to forgive him, she wouldn’t have to jump through all these hoops.
She could just bring Eloise and Noah home and take care of them herself. But now, she had to check with Eloise first.
