He Gave Her My Eyes A Story of Final Sight novel Chapter 172

Mamie was younger, and Leila just couldn’t keep up with her.

In the end, neither of them got what they wanted.

Mamie’s good mood vanished. “Leila, I only gave you three days because I was feeling generous. I’m not in the mood anymore. You have one day. Pack your stuff and get out. Now.”

She walked away without looking back.

The crowd that had gathered for the drama realized the show was over and drifted off.

Leila pulled out her phone and went straight to social media. The top trending topic was all about Eric keeping a mistress. There was even a video—clear as day—of Eric and Mamie all over each other, Eric practically glued to her side.

Leila was so furious she threw her phone to the ground and dropped to the floor, sobbing. “How could he keep a mistress? How could he do this to me?”

Patti was too caught up in her own problems to care about Leila’s meltdown.

Felton, on the other hand, started to question everything he thought he knew about his father. First the painting at the charity auction, now this mistress scandal. It was nothing like the father he believed he had.

If all of this was possible, maybe Theresia was right about Eric forcing Naomi to have her. Maybe it was all true.

Felton managed to keep his cool. “Mom, I’m going to talk to Dad myself. Wait for me.”

He left without another word.

A secret about Eric?

Theresia’s eyes widened and she stared at Mamie, waiting.

Right then, Felton rushed out of the hospital and spotted Theresia talking with Mamie.

His anger exploded. “Theresia, it was you all along!”

He stormed up to her, grabbing her wrist. His voice broke as he demanded, “Why are you doing this? What do you get out of destroying the Baker family? You’ve ruined so many of us. Will you only be happy when we’ve all lost everything?”

His eyes were red with fury, but Theresia just gave him a cool, almost mocking smile. “Felton, when your family was pushing me to the edge, did you ever care if I survived?”
