He Gave Her My Eyes A Story of Final Sight novel Chapter 214

With all his money and influence, did he really need her worrying about him? Honestly, Garry had already blocked her. That part of her life was over, and it was time to move forward.

Teresa drew in a long breath. “Alright, I’m going to get some rest. We’ll talk later.” She hung up and lingered a bit in the cool evening air, letting the breeze help clear her mind.

The next day, Simon came back from his trip.

Teresa set up plans with Davina for a visit to The Craft & Vision Atelier. On the way there, Davina explained why she had to leave so suddenly the day before.

Teresa just smiled and brushed it off.

They sat together in the back seat, and Davina leaned in, curious. “So, Teresa, what do you think of Parrish?”

Teresa wasn’t surprised. She raised her eyebrow, a little amused. “Parrish is a great guy, but I’m really not in the mood for dating right now. Davina, I’m sorry, but I can’t accept your matchmaking.”

Davina laughed, a little embarrassed. “No worries. However you two get along is up to you, as long as it doesn’t mess with our friendship.”

Teresa never liked leaving things vague, so she made herself clear. She knew Davina would pass the message on to Parrish once they got back.

After about half an hour, they arrived at The Craft & Vision Atelier.

Once they walked through a grove of bamboo, Teresa immediately spotted a man in black. “Simon,” she called out.

Simon pushed his glasses up, saw it was Teresa, and said a quick word to the person next to him before heading her way.

Usually so calm and serious, Simon actually smiled, looking younger. “Teresa, it’s been months. Did you get taller?”

Teresa laughed. “Simon, come on, I’m way past growing any taller.”

Davina, always warm and confident, greeted him. “Simon, I’ve heard so much about you.”

Simon didn’t seem particularly interested. “I’ll have someone show you around so you can get to know the place,” he replied, already distracted.

“Thank you, Simon,” Davina said politely.

Simon arranged for someone to give Davina a tour, then quickly pulled Teresa aside.

“Simon, why are you in such a hurry?” Teresa asked as she sat down and took a long sip of tea.

Simon sat across from her and let out a slow breath. “Have you ever heard of the George family? They’re the wealthiest family in Cabinda.”
