He Lost Me to His Best Friend novel Chapter 740

Once they arrived at the hotel, he would simply check into his own Presidential Suite.

As for Scarlett and her entourage, they could sleep on the streets for all he cared.

He wanted to see exactly where they'd end up staying when they walked in to check-in and found they had no rooms.

Half an hour later.

The luxury van smoothly pulled up to the entrance of The Peninsula Hotel, Heston City's premier luxury accommodation.

Yardley was the first to step out.

He adjusted the cuffs of his bespoke suit and, without waiting for Scarlett or the others, strode purposefully into the opulent lobby. His pace was brisk, as if he barely knew them.

Watching the coldness and sheer indifference radiating from his back, Scarlett felt a brief moment of surprise.

She had no idea what kind of game Yardley was trying to play this time, but honestly, she couldn't care less.

She simply stood off to the side, watching as Julian, Stellan, and the driver worked together to unload the heavy luggage onto a cart.

Yardley marched up to the front desk and spoke in fluent English to the manager. "My name is Flynn. I have a reservation for your Presidential Suite."

His tone carried the authoritative edge of someone used to giving orders. He slid his ID across the counter.

The manager quickly verified his details, efficiently processed his check-in, and handed Yardley a key card.

The moment Yardley saw the room number, his face darkened. "Is there a mistake? I booked your absolute best Presidential Suite. I'm certain this isn't the right room number."

The front desk manager checked the computer again and replied with absolute certainty, "Sir, there is no mistake. This is the room you are booked for."

"As for the Presidential Suites you mentioned, they have all been completely bought out by our top-tier VIP."

Where did things go wrong?

Did they completely misunderstand his instructions?!

Yardley spun back to the receptionist, his anger practically boiling over. "Are you absolutely sure you haven't made a mistake?"

The receptionist double-checked the system and nodded firmly. "Mr. Flynn, these were the explicit instructions from our VIP: the three best suites in the hotel were to be reserved for the three arriving guests. As for your accommodation, it is exactly the room you hold in your hand."

The driver walked over, flashing Yardley a polite smile. "Mr. Flynn, those were indeed Mr. Bishop's exact orders."

"Mr. Bishop also asked me to pass along a message. He said thank you for your generous offer to cover the bill, but since you are visiting Country A, it is only right that he fulfills his duties as the host."

"Because there are only three Presidential Suites available and the rest of the hotel is fully booked, I'm afraid you'll have to make do with a standard suite. But don't worry, all expenses are still fully covered by Mr. Bishop. He wishes you a very pleasant stay!"
