He Waited She Wilted (Ottilie and Yorath) novel Chapter 348

Ottilie picked up her teacup, taking a slow sip as she glanced at Yorath.

Then she heard Yvonne say, "I don't need anything."

With a curt nod, she stepped back into the shadows.

"Then just give her a bonus," Ottilie suggested.

She couldn't just let her risk her neck for nothing.

"Done. Double her bonus for this month, and double her end-of-year payout," he agreed.

A twinge of envy hit Ottilie. Thinking about her own bank balance, she briefly considered asking Yvonne if they were hiring.

Being a bodyguard clearly paid a hell of a lot better than acting.

Back in her room, the uncomfortable, sticky feeling of sweat finally caught up with her.

She had been running around outside all day.

Stripping off her clothes as she walked to the bathroom, she stepped inside completely bare.

She stood under the shower, letting the warm water wash over her.

Suddenly, she felt a solid, warm chest press against her back.

Her muscles locked up instantly.

A pair of strong arms wrapped securely around her waist as Yorath pressed soft kisses behind her ear.

"Tilly, I missed you."

She forced herself to relax. "If we're doing this, make it quick. I need to go back down and monitor Fabian's feed."

"I'm right in front of you. Why would you want to watch him instead of me?"

He tilted her chin up and captured her lips.

Sensing she might protest, he murmured against her mouth, "You can just watch the replay later."

"We don't have protection in here. No." The fear of getting pregnant spiked in her chest.

Especially having Yorath's baby.

Absolutely not.

His hand slid down to her stomach, tracing light circles over her skin.
