How to Train Your Ex-Billionaire novel Chapter 233

Winifred turned away. "No!"

Yvan hugged her from behind. "Please, Wini."

"I said no, and I meant it! Yvan, are you going to go back on your word this quickly?"

As she spoke, she was secretly biting her lip to keep from laughing.

"…Alright, I'll go." Yvan got out of bed, looking as dejected as a wilted flower.

Winifred turned back to him. "Hey, I was just kidding."

Yvan, who was about to turn and leave, froze. "What did you say?"

"I said, I was kidding. You idiot!"

Yvan stared for a moment, and then it dawned on him.

His eyes lit up, and he scrambled back into bed, pulling Winifred into his arms and giving her a playful nip. "Winifred, you're so naughty."

"Well, you were making me sound like some tyrannical queen, saying whatever I say goes," Winifred retorted with a playful glare.

A smirk played on Yvan's lips as he caressed her body, deliberately teasing. "Your Majesty, I am your humble servant, ready to serve you and make you happy."

Winifred couldn't help but laugh at his antics, swatting his hand away. "Yvan, be serious. There are a few things I need to talk to you about."

"Speak, my queen," Yvan said, kissing the back of her hand.

Winifred gave him a look before continuing, "I don't need you to obey my every word. Sometimes I'm wrong. But you have to respect me, and you can't do things you believe are for my own good without my permission. Like having people follow me."

Yvan looked down, a guilty expression on his face. "Okay, I understand."

"And now that you're with me, you're not allowed to have anything to do with other women," Winifred added, her tone firm. "Especially not someone like Teresa."

"I don't like Teresa at all. I'll make things clear with her," Yvan said quickly. "And there are no other women."

Soon, his breathing evened out, and he fell asleep.

But Winifred couldn't fall asleep right away.

She was so used to sleeping alone that having someone next to her, holding her so tightly, felt a little strange.

Once Yvan was asleep, she gently moved his arm, shifting away from his warm embrace and letting out a soft sigh of relief.

She turned over to look at Yvan's face in the darkness.

His sharply defined eyebrows, straight nose, angular face, and well-shaped lips.

Every feature was exactly what she found attractive.

Seven years. She never thought she and Yvan would be together again.

Just three months ago, she was determined to cut ties with him completely and go their separate ways.
