Chapter 102 Back to Normal
Lira’s POV:
I froze, staring at him, confused.
He was slouched lazily on the couch, his gem–like eyes burning into me. He held a coffee cup in his long fingers, taking a small sip.
That intense stare flustered me. I looked down, glancing away, and mumbled, “Thanks.”
“That’s all?”
Before I could even react, I was pulled right into his arms.
Kael stroked my cheek softly, his hoarse voice oozing temptation. “Lira, c’mon–how exactly are you gonna thank me?”
I stared at the smirk on his face, my cheeks turning pink. I forced an awkward smile. “Kael, I’m still young. I can’t thank you the way you want me to. How about I buy you a nice dinner when we get back?”
We were so close–his scent was everywhere. Victoria started acting up, way more restless than usual.
That weird feeling made me nervous. I tried to push him off, but I couldn’t budge him.
Kael pulled me even tighter, staring at me with those burning eyes for a long minute before he spoke. “Sure.”
That night, I headed back to the Silverwhip Pack. Kael had stuck around the Fragrance Pack too long–he had a ton of work piling up, so he had to rush back to the Thunder Pack to take care of it.
When I got back to the company, I handed the agreements for Surge Real Estate and Willow Hospital to Serena. I told her to handle them.
Serena looked at the papers, confused. “Lira, did something go down while you were at the Fragrance Pack?”

I propped my head on one hand, slouching couch. I stayed quiet for a sec, then nodded softly. “Yeah, but it’s all over now. Handle these two comes quickly, but don’t merge them into Four Seasons Group

right now. Also, the medicine’s on the market–it’s selling like crazy. A bunch talk about being agents, but I said no.
“I think we gotta sell the medicine through our own channels. That way, we can make sure it’s real, not some fake garbage.”
“Yeah, Serena. You can call all the shots on this.” I trusted Serena’s call completely when it came to the company, so let her run with it.
After all, Serena had studied management with me under Enid. She was a Beta Enid personally trained for me I knew how good she was.

“One more thing. Blackpine Group’s sent people over a bunch of times, trying to buy our pharmaceutical division. I turned ‘em down. Then I checked–it’s Rick’s group. We gotta watch him.”
“Rick?” I was a little caught off guard.
I’d almost forgotten about him if she hadn’t brought his name up today.
I thought for a sec, then scoffed, “It’s fine. If he dares to mess with us, we’ll hit back hard.”
After wrapping up company stuff, I went back to being a regular “Omega” student–just bouncing between school and my place.
When I went into the space again, I found out the explosion that day had drained way too much energy from my two wolf spirits. They’d been passed out this whole time.
Blue was worried I’d stay in the space too long, so he moved me out and sent me straight to Kael.
Blue and Sun agreed–Kael, as the Lycan King, was the only one who could protect me best. And my wolf spirit Victoria trusted him too…
When I got back to school, Laura and Sally swarmed me, grilling me nonstop.
After all, I’d been gone over half a month, and they couldn’t get ahold of me at all.
Faced with their “lecture,” I finally smiled and gave in. “Okay, I promise I’ll tell you next time I dip out.”
They grinned. “Fine. Since you’re being real, we’ll cut you some slack.”
I smiled, pulled two boxes out of my bag, and handed them to them. “I saw these in the Fragrance Pack and thought they’d be perfect for you, so I grabbed them.”
Laura took her gift and tore it open right away, excited. “Whoa! This doll’s so cute! I love it, thanks babe!” She gave me a big hug.
Sally opened her box too. When she saw the light blue crystal bracelet inside, her eyes lit up. “So pretty!” She put it on right away, then looked at me. “Lira, thanks. I love this gift so much.”
Watching their happy faces made me happy too.
Third–Person Perspective:
Over the next month, Lira was swamped with school and the company.
But H
She was so busy she only saw one patient a week. But her reputation as the young miracle healer spread like wildfire through high society.
All the celebrities who’d seen her skills stopped looking down on her for being just an “Omega.” Even the whole upper class started treating their own Omega servants with more respect.
Four Seasons Group’s fame blew up.
The pharmaceutical company’s medicine was out, and since it used rare herbs, it worked amazingly. It got a huge response, and sales kept climbing.
