Howl of Destiny: Alpha Lira's Legend novel Chapter 103

Chapter 103 The Auction

ThirdPerson Perspective:

Lira still hid Victoria’s power, pretending to be an Omega. She played Travis’s assistant, tagging along with him into the auction.

On stage, the auctioneer was already talking up the land plots.

Eight plots were up for auction today. The organizer got on stage and said a few words. Then the auctionee stepped up to start his pitch.

The big screen behind him showed where each plot was and photos of them, and the auction got rolling.

The first plot sat on a hillside in the Silverwhip Pack, huge. But because of where it was, the starting bid wasn’t too high80 million.

The real estate guys down below started whispering. The starting bid wasn’t bad, but the location had everyone on the fence.

But Lira could tellthis place would become a massive villa community someday. Housing prices would shoot up several times, turning into a real rich neighborhood only for pureblood highrank werewolves.

Real estate companies started throwing out bids.

Eighty million shot up to 130 million in no time.

Chapter 103 The Auction

Is Four Seasons Group out of their minds? That location’s garbagewhy drop 300 million on it?! Young and clueless. That’s why they’re being so stupid.”

Rick turned to Travis, a cold smirk tugging at his lips. How dare they. Ever since he left the Brewer Group. he’d been trying to buy this company. But every time he sent people over, they shot him down. Today, he’d teach them a lesson.

The auctioneer saw no more bids, then said, Silverwhip Pack Hillside Plot 1. Three hundred million once. Three hundred million twice. Three hundred million three times.

He slammed the gavel down hard. Sold! Silverwhip Pack Hillside Plot 1 goes to Four Seasons Group for 300 million.”

Rick sneered, Congrats, Mr. Bailey!

The others joined in, clapping halfheartedly.

By that point, the auctioneer was already introducing the second plot.

This one was right by the ocean. The area was really nice. Being far from the mountains meant it was away from border crooks, lone wolves, and stray wolves with diseases. It was beautiful, perfect for living.

If they turned it into highend houses, they’d definitely make bank.

But Lira didn’t think much of this plot. When she looked into the Silverwhip Pack’s info before, she found out it was missing a buffer zone to fight off witch attacks. And this coastal spot’s biggest job was to be that buffer.

As long as the Silverwhip Pack’s Alpha wasn’t a moron, he’d put troops here someday and use it as a buffer.

Lira was still thinking when the starting bid got called out150 million.

As soon as the price was out, people started bidding like crazy. After all, the location was really good.

One hundred and sixty million!

One hundred and seventy million!

Rick called out, Two hundred million.
