Chapter 167 The Cost of the Vein
The last thing I wanted was to be ‘partners’ with a bunch of Darknight Pack freaks.
I didn’t wait for a reply; I just turned and walked straight back to my tent
The second I was inside, I couldn’t hold it back anymore and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Forcing my hands off that floor and moving the vein into my dimension had caused some internal
trauma.
Feeling like I was about to collapse, I slipped into my spatial dimension.
The moment I appeared, Azure and Foxy rushed over to me, looking frantic.
“Master, the energy in here is spiking! That vein is too powerful for your body to process right now,” Azure explained, his voice high with worry.
I fought the feeling that my chest was about to explode. “Can I move the vein back out?” I wheezed.
“No,” Azure said. “The gems have their own energy, and now that they’re part of the space, that energy is being absorbed. Even if you move the rocks out, the power stays here, and it’s overflowing.”
I was stuck. One way or another, the energy was going to tear me apart.
“So what do I do?” I asked desperately.
