Chapter 171 Back from the Void
Lira Voss’s POV:
Finished
My heart gave a sudden jolt. Before I could react, he was already in front of me, grabbing my wrist and yanking me straight into his arms.
His scent hit me hard, wrapping around my wolf souls Victoria and Lily like a warm blanket. They both relaxed instantly.
He pulled me tighter, staring down at me with pure worry. “Lira, what’s wrong?”
I pushed him back gently and took a shaky breath. My forehead was already slick with cold sweat. My voice came out weak. “Kael, just listen. Let the people from the Trotter family go. I promised Leroy I would.
“And I might need to rest for a while. Don’t worry, I’m just going to sleep. It could be a long one. Don’t tell Elder Enid. And tell the girls at Four Seasons Group and my friends not to worry about me.”
His eyes were full of questions, but he didn’t ask a single one. He just nodded. “Okay. Rest as long as you need. I’ll be right here waiting.”

He got up and walked away.
I tried so hard to open my eyes but couldn’t. His scent was familiar though, comforting.
In the haze I kept calling for Victoria and Lily, but they didn’t answer.
I started to panic and fought to wake up. Finally a rush of heat bloomed in my chest and my eyes flew
open.
I sat up and looked around the strange room. It took me a minute to remember I was in Kael’s place in Silverwhip Pack.
“Lira, you’re finally awake! You’ve been asleep for two whole years. Victoria and I were so worried.” Lily’s voice rang in my head.
Two years? I’d been trapped in that pocket dimension the entire time.
The vein I’d found was massive. I’d spent over a year nonstop absorbing every drop of energy, and even then I couldn’t get out. Azure didn’t know why either, so I just focused on leveling up my medical skills inside the space until I finally broke free,

I did off the bed, my legs stiff from lying down so long I walked slowly to the floor-to-ceiling windows Early spring had left the courtyard looking a little bare, but the staff were bustling around as usual.
After a quick wash-up I found the walk-in closet. Half of it was clearly Kael’s clothes. The other half was

Librew on a soft yellow cardigan, slipped into some shoes, and headed downstairs.
cond I stepped into the main hall, the maids cleaning the floor froze and stared at me like they’d ghost. One of them dropped her rag
