Howl of Destiny: Alpha Lira’s Legend
Chapter 180 A Warm Welcome and a Cold Threat
Lira Voss’s POV:
The second I picked up, a warm, familiar voice came through. “Lira, you’re finally back.”
I smiled. “Yeah, I’m back. How have you been, Reginald?”
Finished
There was a long silence before he finally spoke, his voice heavy. “I’m good. But you… you just vanished without a word. My father and I spent two years worried sick. We sent out so many search parties, but we found nothing. If I hadn’t seen that photo of you at the airport, I would’ve thought I’d never see you again.
“I’m just glad you’re safe.”
“Tell your father I’m sorry. I had some things I had to handle, and I couldn’t reach out. I’ll make time to visit him soon. I’ve missed him.”
The Four Seasons Group owed its survival in the Silverwhip Pack to the protection of Reginald and his father.
Reginald had been our guardian angel in this cutthroat city. Without him, we would have been torn apart by the local packs long ago. I definitely owed them a visit.
“He’ll be thrilled to hear that,” Reginald said, his voice bright with excitement. “I’ll send a car for you whenever you’re ready.”
We chatted for a few more minutes before hanging

After that, my phone didn’t stop. Steve Garcia, Michael Brewer, Sally, Laura, Virginia-everybody was calling.
That’s when I realized how much effort they’d put in. After Leroy Trotter took me to the Graymarch Pack. the Wilsons and the Garcias had exhausted every resource they had trying to find me.
I was genuinely moved.
When the calls finally stopped, I leaned back in my chair and exhaled.

Two years. They were still looking for me. It was a feeling I never had back in the Brookstone Pack.
Ever since I escaped that place, my life had actually become… real.
Even though they still saw me as a ‘low-tier Omega,’ I received more genuine love and protection that ever did as an Alpha’s daughter back home.
It was a good feeling.
Lira’s return didn’t just excite her friends.
In the Maynard Continent, inside a dark, gothic estate belonging to the Darknight Pack, the air was thick

with the scent of old blood and decay.
In a dimly lit room, a scarred old man sat on a leather sofa, staring at a newspaper with a twisted, predatory grin.
If Lira were there, she would have recognized him instantly. Silas Trotter-Leroy’s Granduncle.
Finished
A man in black stood nearby, his eyes cold and lifeless as he reported. “Master, the latest reports confirm. Lira Krom has resurfaced at the Silverwhip airport.”
Silas dropped the paper, his eyes flashing with a wicked, icy light. “Finally. If that idiot Leroy hadn’t let that pathetic Omega go, the Trotter Group and the entire Darknight Pack would already be in my pocket. Hahaha! I’ve waited long enough!”
Two years ago, after Leroy let her slip away, Silas had been hunting her like a dog.
But she had vanished into thin air, stalling his plans for two whole years.
It didn’t matter now. She was back.
Silas’s wolfish eyes flared with a murderous hunger as he barked an order. “Find her. I don’t care what it takes-bring her to me!”
