Inside a purple princess–style bedroom, a woman sat at her vanity, wearing a red lace nightgown. She heid her phone and spoke in a mean, vicious voice.

“If you don’t have a shot, make one! She’s just a useless Omega orphan. You can’t even wrap this up? You’re all total losers!

“I don’t give a damn what you do. Get this done by week’s end. You gotta take a video of that bitch getting raped.

“If you mess this up, I’ll shift into my wolf form and tear every last one of you to shreds to feed the strays!”

After she said that, she hung up the phone. A cold, scheming look flickered in her eyes.

She mumbled quietly to herself, “Lira, don’t hate me. Hate yourself. You had no business seducing Steve! A lowlife Omega like you as no right to fight me for a man!

“Once I ruin you, we’ll see if you can still flirt with him.

Lira’s POV:

After I left the Wilson family’s house, I went straight into my space as soon as I got back to my place.

When I was treating Virginia, I felt a rush of intense energy coursing through my body nonstop.

Victoria told me my body’s energy had gotten a massive boost after I’d gone into the space a few times before.

Victoria and I had fused our energies even better–we were almost at the Alpha King level.

Even Lily, who was just an Omega–level wolf spirit, was about to level up to the next rank.

One more step, and I’d hit the breaking point to get past my current body’s energy limit.

That’s why I rushed into the space as soon as I got back.

Sure enough, the second I stepped inside, I felt my whole body wrapped up in a huge wave of energy. A blue glow shone all around me.

Sun and Blue–who I’d left in the space–were worried; they kept running circles around me.

I could hear them talking clear as day, but I couldn’t say a word.

“Little Mosquito, cut it out with the running! You think Master is okay?” Sun asked as he darted around.

“Quit calling me Little Mosquito! I’ve told you a hundred times. Master’s body and wolf spirit are in the middle of leveling up to a higher rank. It’s gonna take a while.”

I had no idea how much time passed, but slowly, I felt the energy building up in my body fade away. The blue glow around me vanished completely. I opened my eyes and could move my body freely again.

My whole body felt lighter and more comfortable–even my skin looked better than before,

Even Lily cheered excitedly inside me. Lira! Victoria! I feel an incredible power I’ve never had before!

That’s right. Lily’s way stronger than a regular Omega now. Victoria sounded happy for Lily too.

Naturally, I was even happier. With this much more power, I could protect Hidmoon Pack better and get

my revenge…

Blue flew over to my shoulder, all excited. “Master, how do you feel?”

“Yeah, yeah! How do you feel? Little Mosquito wouldn’t tell me jack–I’ve been worried sick!” The little fox jumped into my arms, not wanting to be left out.

I smiled happily. “I feel lighter, and I’ve got way more energy than before.”

“Master, you should come here a few more times every day. Absorb more energy, and soon you’ll be even stronger than an Alpha King,” Blue said, looking all serious.

“Yeah, I will. I promise,” I said, all excited. Then I stood up, confused. “Oh, right–how long have I been in here?”

“Ten days!”

I was shocked when it said that!

I’d been in here that long?

I hurried to the lab to keep making medicine.

After I finished, I was about to leave when Sun started whining. “Master, I wanna go out too! It’s so boring. in here.” He tugged on my pants leg and wouldn’t let go.
