Chapter 76 Lira’s Miracle
Karl’s POV
Finished
“She looks beat to hell, but her body’s actually in pretty good shape,” he said to me, all hyped up. “No way
an Omega’s body’s this tough? If I’m not misreading it, what her body soaked up was that special witch poison, the kind made just to take down us werewolves.
“Even us high–ranking werewolves can barely fight this stuff off. Never in a million years did I think she could hold back most of the poison all on her own–just with her body and grit. That’s straight–up insane!
“She’s good now, though. Just gotta patch up the cut on her arm, and she’ll be fine.”
I was surprised when he said that, but it didn’t totally catch me off guard.
Ever since the first day I met her, I knew she was one of a kind. I just hadn’t finished digging into who she really was…
But staring at her, still out cold, I wanted to rip the person who hurt her to shreds right then and there.
I forced my anger down and then told Arthur sharply, “Fix her wound first.”
When I got a good look at the cut on Lira’s arm, my heart twisted like someone was squeezing it–I almost lost my cool right then.
I balled my fists so tight my knuckles turned white. I swear, I wanted Zeus to tear whoever did this to her apart immediately.
Arthur was dabbing at her wound, and when the cotton swab hit it, I saw her eyebrows pinch up real tight.
That look of pain on her face? It killed me.
“Hold up,” I cut Arthur off.
I grabbed that medicine bottle she’d left me before, then sprinkled the powder right on her wound.
I remembered when she used this stuff on me–it knocked the pain out fast, and it helped my wound heal in no time.
Sure enough, the second that powder hit her cut, the bleeding stopped. A scab formed right in front of my eyes, and the wound started to heal—all that was left was a faint red mark when it was done.
Arthur’s jaw dropped. He stared at me and blurted, “Your Majesty! Where did you get this medicine? It’s unreal!”
I didn’t bother answering him. I just told him to get out and then wiped Lira down myself.
After I cleaned her up, I lay down next to her, watching her sleep–calm, peaceful. A light medicine smell filled the whole room, and for the first time in forever, I felt totally at peace.
I brushed my fingers softly over her eyebrows and eyes. Right then, I felt this satisfaction, this calm–I’d never felt anything like it. Even Zeus, my wolf spirit, seemed to settle into her scent, like it was home.

Chapter 76 Lira’s Miracles
When I found out she was in danger? I panicked–worse than I ever had in my life. It wasn’t until I had her in my arms that my heart finally slowed down a little.
I was the Lycan King. I’d always prided myself on being strong, on staying cool. Never once did I think I’d fall so hard for an Omega girl–willingly, completely.
I looked down at her angelic face, leaned in, and couldn’t help but press a soft kiss to her forehead.
“Lira,” I whispered, “what am I gonna do? I can’t let you go–not anymore. You’re mine, for good”
