Chapter 78 Four Seasons Takes Over
Lira’s POV:
“C’mon, what else? The Prices–the Cloudburst Pack’s big shots–got taken down hard,” I said, totally laid- back.
Eileen’s eyes nearly popped out. “How’d you find out that?”
I smiled and kept my mouth shut.
When I crashed at Kael’s those days, my super sharp cars caught him chatting with Gary about all that stuff every now and then.
Eileen didn’t bug me when I didn’t spill–she just let it go.
Sally frowned. “The Prices must’ve ticked off someone hella powerful. They got wiped out overnight.”
“For sure,” Eileen jumped in. “Whoever took down an alpha family like the Prices ain’t no nobody. I heard Barbara and her folks got it brutal.”
I’d already planned what Barbara deserved for messing with me. But I never thought Kael’d handle it so quickly…
Over the next few days, I was
wamped with company work when I wasn’t at school.
The Four Seasons Group’s pharma press conference was coming up fast. Serena and the crew were running around like headless chickens, and everyone at the company was hyped but stressed out.
I wasn’t slacking either. Every project needed my okay and signature, plus a final check. So I took a two- week break from school to focus solely on work at the company.
Third–Person Perspective:
The finished drugs from the pharma factory had already gotten the green light from the authorities. Candy and the others were running the final tests.
Over at the real estate and investment companies, Travis had everything up and running smoothly. At the entertainment company, things were on track too–the movie they put money into was already rolling. Everything was moving along without a hitch.
Two weeks later, the Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals press conference got underway.
All sorts of people showed up, dying to find out who was behind this random Four Seasons Group.
In business, you gotta know your enemy to win. Reporters swarmed in too, hoping to get the first big story
The press conference was in the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Four Seasons Group. In the huge conference room, a full–wall LCD screen looped clips of the group’s main industries.
Everyone who walked in was shook by the group’s big spend and high tech–they started chatting up a

storm.
“The boss behind this Four Seasons Group is so secretive. I’ve had guys digging since it popped up, and I still don’t know who it is. I don’t even know which pack they’re from.
“For real. But I heard the person pulling the strings is a total medicine whiz.
“Me too. A bunch of high–rank werewolves in high society are asking when Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals stuff drops–they’re stoked for it.”
Right then, Serena, Travis, and Rodney walked out in suits. Reporters started snapping pics like crazy.
After they sat down, Serena grabbed the mic and started hosting.
“Thanks to all you reporters for coming to Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals‘ product launch. Since Four Seasons Group started, we’ve got five main industries.
“Pharma’s our top priority. After five years of messing around with research, our product’s finally a huge win. Now, let’s check out the test results.”
As soon as she finished talking, the big screen showed the whole pharma factory. In the high–tech lab, a researcher grabbed the drug, zoomed in on a few common viruses–even the toxin from regular wolfsbane–watered down the drug, and poured it in. The viruses broke down right in front of everyone’s eyes, till they were gone for good.
The crowd gasped, all hyped up. “Whoa! Did you see that? The wolfsbane toxin that’s always killed us werewolves is totally gone!”
“Yes! Finally! With this drug, we’ll never have to be scared of witches using wolfsbane on us again!”
Some reporters scribbled notes fast, typing up articles to post ASAP.
“This is a huge invention! Once Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals‘ stuff hits the market, it’ll flip the entire werewolf world upside down!”
When the video ended, reporters couldn’t hold back–they started firing off questions.
“Ms. Barnes, is the test result in the video for real?”
“Real deal. No B.S. at all.” Serena nodded, totally confident.
“Ms. Barnes, does what we saw in the video mean Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals made a huge breakthrough in our whole werewolf medical field?”
“Yep. Our work breaks all the current rules in our race’s medical world,” Serena said, grinning proudly.
“Then Ms. Barnes, will Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals sell the product in bulk?”
“Nah. The ingredients we need for the drug are rare, so we won’t make tons of it.”
“When’s the product gonna hit the market?”
“Officially December 1st.”

“Ms. Barnes, is the Four Seasons Group’s chairman here today?”
“Sorry, but we ain’t answering any questions about the chairman today.”
The questions went on for a full hour.
After the Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals part wrapped up, Travis and Rodney talked about the other industries—Four Seasons Real Estate, Four Seasons Investment, and Four Seasons Entertainment.
Lira wasn’t there, but she watched everything from the big screen in her office.
Four Seasons Group popping up out of nowhere was like a bomb–especially in the medical field. It shook the entire werewolf community across multiple continents.
After the news dropped, every corner of the medical world was talking about whether Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals‘ drug was real. Hospitals scrambled to study the drug, and pharma companies held emergency meetings to see if they could team up with this cutting–edge company.
There were haters, and there were fans. But none of that mattered to Lira–she knew once the drug hit the market, all the doubt would go away…
In the Silverwhip Pack’s Elder Council Hall, Reginald looked at the newspaper article about Four Seasons Group, a smile pulling at his lips. “That girl Lira just keeps blowing my mind.
“Who would’ve thought an Omega like her, besides healing people, has such solid business skills.
“Looks like we really gotta stay on her good side and keep digging into her background.”
Then he turned to his assistant. “Spread the word. From now on, the Cox family’s got Four Seasons Group’s back in the Silverwhip Pack. If anyone causes trouble, kick them out for good.”
The assistant hurried to answer, “Yes, sir. Got it.” With that, he walked out.
At the Wilson Manor…
At the dinner table, Brenda looked at the morning newspaper and suddenly gasped. “Oh! Isn’t this the Four Seasons Pharmaceuticals Lira was talking about?”
Her words shocked everyone at the table.
